Life's been busy lately, and I haven't had time to watch videos, but definitely wanted to comment here to give some love to Forge's striped sports socks.....and to say congrats on 900 subs! 1,000 subs is in view! I didn't know about that possible name for Forge. Very interesting. Now I'm curious what other info have I missed in the other videos. If only the days were twice as long......

The cocked hip, the polo shirt with popped collar, gym shorts and tube socks, etc. Straight out of Magnum PI. Gotta love the ‘80s! Yeah, there’s a few bits and pieces in the ‘80s vids you may not know already. Aldi, stay tuned for a couple of Spidey Vs Juggernaut reviews I’m going to do in relation to UXM #183: Amazing #229 and 230.

Hey, really enjoying your videos, but are you saying "sonic" or "psionic" when the psychic characters use their powers? Like at 17:29 in this video.

I'm glad you're enjoying the vids. I've altered my pronunciation of the word in subsequent vids to emphasise the second syllable.

I always really liked Rachel and I find her initial arc in the book fascinating. Always liked her aesthetic, with the buzzcut, rat's tail and baggy suits or danskins aerobics wear.

It's wholly Claremont's decision to bring her back from the future and into the X-Men, and so it's interesting to consider that by #209, he's decided to get her out of the story and out of the X-Men.

If you ask me, Rachel is the only character in Excalibur I care about. Otherwise I'd probably never read it

@@josesarango3408I felt they had a really good team in general. Kurt was really able to lean into his swashbuckling side, Kitty ditched her "kid sidekick"role, Brian showed the devastation of losing a twin, and Megan's innocent joy helped them all to heal after losing people that they were incredibly close with.
