Hi, I tought it was to increase the space inside 😅 not reduce the space on the floor. Also the speak is too long, I had to play it in 2x to not sleep. You repeat sometimes 3 times the same thing 😊 Thank you for the hack by the way
Did you see the one where the guy staked the floor out like you did, but then pulled a single ridgeline cord out in front, tied the doors to that line, and made this tent look almost exactly like the zpacks duplex? Pretty amazing what you guys come up with.
Yes indeed. Thanks for the comment. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SbJk5cTaIx0.html (I'm always looking for better, cheaper, faster and more efficient ways to do things.)
Nice! Would be super useful if you could invent a hack for single pole pitch, so that if one of your trecking poles breaks you still have a shelter to sleep in.
When your space is restricted, like on the AT. Sometimes you need a narrower tent, or in this case, you can reduce the tent footprint size by making it narrow. I had to pass up a couple level spots because the tent wouldn't fit. It would have if I had seen this or the other RU-vid out there illustrating how to make it more narrow.
@@cheri7828 oh ok, I just use a tarp on the AT. My xmid is for friends family to join me on other trips. Tarps are the best for fitting into tight spaces. So much flexibility.
