On October 6, 1955, the radio science fiction anthology series "X Minus One" broadcast the story "First Contact" adapted from a story by Murray Leinster.
As I have found that the broadcast recording seems to be now in the public domain, I have created an animated video to go with the radio broadcast.
Using a combination of Moviestorm for the character animation, and a homemade miniature for a space vehicle, I've created this for your entertainment, attempting to give it an old-timey, low-budget feel.
