One of my most loved and hated shmups of Irem: Amazing music, nightmare fuel backgrounds, incredible detail of enemies, cliffhanger ending, and a lost link to R-Type and Image Fight; but sadly a bit easy if you have played most of Irem's other games

With the amount of bullet hell games recently, it’s only a matter of time until we see the first Touhou game enter his collection. Also yeah, OG gamers remember games like these with the old graphics. Oldest game I’ve played was Fallout from 97’.
Couple of things to note about this game: The story goes that you're a pilot of a microscopic ship inserted into a patient who was attacked by an alien parasite. That alone is some pretty scary stuff to think about, possibly even worse that it was probably still out there. O.o; Can't blame the Bydo on this one, I'm afraid. R-Type connections: the Tentacle Force is a part of the arsenal developed by the team who built all of the R-series ships, although the microship in question isn't exactly seen in R-Type Final. If memory serves me right, it probably was referenced in the data for the Force module.
Thank Irem for entering to a woman's corpse to find and destroy the Alien virus inside her womb. I don't want to imagine if the corpse was from a man.....

From what I understand, the plot of this game is that alien micro-organisms are invading by colonizing the bodies of colonists of some planet. You're on a fantastic voyage to defeat the alien queen. Man, that invasion must've been going on for some time, considering the state of the tissues of the patient. o_O;; This might warrent a viewing of an entire playthrough. For scientific reasons.

No, they should set it inside of a guy, and the final boss is one of those Evil Overlord villains from mid-'00s cartoons (also, he replaces the queen. He's a king, or should I say commander.)
