x-OSC Gluv With e-Textile Sensors (First Prototype) 

So it's now Mid March 2015 & Perception Neuron are on track to delivering their latest motion capture hardware in April 2015. They've made a few critical changes to the straps & neuron housing. Looks great & can't wait to test it out. I was reading that you need to keep the sensors well away from magnetic sources such as electrical motors & ferrous metals. Each Set will come with a special anti-magnetic storage container to keep all those little sensors in so they don;t build up unwanted magnetic fields. As of this week their new website has gone live !!!

note: the above video is not related to Perception Neuron... it's just another interesting piece I thought I'd upload. I recently received the MYO armband. So far I'm not too impressed.. For a gesture to be recognised the wearer must initiate a finger pinch gesture overtime & then perform the desired gesture. not very intuitive at this stage... hope they manage to get recognition that does not rely on unlocking with pink gestures overtime

+Colter Hawkstetler Yeah I've been brainstorming on the best way to implement a keyboard glove concept, and this is along the same lines. Problem is that the keyboard already might be such an efficient device that the glove concept would be like taking a step backwards unless it could somehow improve on the input speed. The thing that seems so nice about a glove keyboard is being able to type without having your hands near an specific device or in a particular position (other than the input movements).

If you can't figure out how this is useful,, you might want to look into physical therapy technologies. Similar things to this are already helping physical therapists and their patients big time!
