It's called the Doctrine Of Clean Hands. You can't trespass a property and then sue people for damages if you're injured while tresspassing (there are very specific circumstances where this isn't the case, but they don't apply to these situations). Likewise, you can't assault someone and then sue them for your medical expenses stemming from when you break your hand punching them.
I was kind of thinking that Dash Wilder who threw that sweet ass uppercut as they were walking the guy out was probably the only guy that could actually charged with anything because he sucker-punched him after they already had him in custody so to speak. Anybody who is hitting him in the ring was okay because he was still trespassing at that point so to speak although committing the act of trespassing by going in the ring would the Arena than be considerd the same because he's violated public access rules like if you go through an authorized entry only door of the mall and get caught by security walk you off the entire property and you're trespassing anywhere on mall property at that point ? I loved Harry Smith stormed in shoving people aside to pound him even when they tried to pull them out of the ring. He was so pissed about the guy attacking his uncle it took the big show to get him off of the guy I mean seriously, you attack a legend like Bret Hart in a Arena full of wrestlers and you don't think you're going to get the absolute living shit kicked out of you? I hope Bret Hart bought Travis Browne a beer that night he was on that guy fast
You’re misunderstanding the so called “Doctrine of Clean Hands” in so many ways. It refers to occasions when someone accidentally injures themselves whilst trespassing, as in they fall down stairs, cut themselves on broken glass etc. It doesn’t apply when someone is attacked whilst trespassing. Most states have a duty to retreat so if you can move away safely from the threat then you are required to do so rather than attack them. Even in stand your ground states, when the person is subdued and no longer a threat or has not posed a threat, you do not have any legal right to attack them. Simply put, when someone is trespassing on private property you don’t have carte blanche to assault them however you like (different laws apply when it is a home). I.E. If some kid has sneaked into the backroom of a bar to steal some bottles, you don’t have free reign to beat them to a bloody pulp or if a fan gets on stage at a concert, the security can’t legally beat the shit out of them after they’ve subdued them and taken them backstage. I’m not defending this person and I’m glad he was treated the way he was. The reason it’s highly unlikely any of the wrestlers like Dash will be prosecuted is because the guy was still making threats while being led away and not properly restrained.
Tommy Taylor, I remember wrestling in Mexico and not getting many bookings and XPac was asking me about it and having a star like that ask me about it made me feel better , Plus Xpac gave me a joint , Im not a smoker but it was XPav way of saying hey it will be ok kid. Xpac is aces in my book.
You mean the woman asking simple open ended questions that got X-Pac to open up and talk more whilst the guy kept interrupting him and endlessly talking to impose his own thoughts and interpretation of events. I’m not sure about anyone else but if a show has a guest on I’m generally more interested in hearing what the guest has to say rather than the host.
X-pac was a great talent. He didn't have great mic skills. But had great matches. He should be in the Hof with DX. He had a good career. Never went to the top, but one other titles. I liked the story line with him and Kane.
He didn't 2 talk he had Hall n Nash n he wrestled and said if they were good enough for them.pac was top class had great matches with bret n Eddie guraorio
My take on this situation is if you are going to do all that you can to do what you did and harm someone. The person who is defending themselves or others have the right to make you think twice about your actions. It's about as equivalent to breaking and entering to someone's home. You are not just going to say....hi, how are you, could you please leave my home. No, you are going to physically do something to protect yourself or others.
WWE: Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin, Lacey Evans Also WWE: Hey we said no more rematches so we just went ahead and booked two rematches together in the same match.
Even worse it was Travis Browne the UFC heavyweight fighter LOL the one guy in that audience who could kick the crap out of people worse then the wrestlers
Truth Hurts exactly!!! And now in 2020 they canceling the hall of fame because of the cronovirus, they cancel the show that it should be fine without fans, but they are still airing a show which it impossible without fans
HOF has grown for thirty years without any hiccups, just because one idiot fan in 30 years does something stupid doesn't mean an event like this shouldn't be available to the fans.. You know, those fucking people who make the whole business even worthwhile..
I just hope Bret Hart bought Travis Brown a beer he was on that guy so fast he almost didn't even get to them. That was some sweet ass ground and I remember Brendan Schaub watching that video and giving them Kudos and going damn I've been on the receiving end of those does anybody have a picture of this guy's face? I have heard people complain about where was security? but I guess at an award ceremony like that you really don't expect a fan to rush the stage / ring like at an regular wrestling event. I am sure it caught them really off guard watching Harry Smith push all the people out of the way so he could go and start pounding on guy was priceless. It took the Big Show for chrissakes to pull him off
Erm, she actually got him to talk openly and actually say something interesting with a couple of simple questions. That’s the job of the interviewer. It’s not to exhibit their own knowledge of a topic or events which is what the guy who is interrupting X-Pac and talks twice as much as his guest is seemingly so eager to do.
After the Chappelle incident I immediately thought of the Brett Hart induction and came here. Said then and it applies now, u do something like that face the consequences. You will be arrested but before them cuffs hit your hands u are fair game.
I don't watch wrestling, but I did see the Bret Hart clip. Could the guy win a lawsuit about what happened in the ring? Highly doubtful. Could he win a lawsuit about what happened afterwards when he was punched while being lead away after he was subdued? Absolutely.
@@josiahhenson4550 Dimebag Darrell Abbott. He was a guitarist (Pantera) who died on stage when some fucked up fan rushed the stage and shot him in the face. Literally in the blink of an eye, so dont ever forget it, was my point basically.
Actually you can't beat the piss out of them your job is to hold him until security gets there I agree with beating the piss out of me do me wrong but legality wise they could sue and when that's why I WWE settled out of court sandwich with people's batsu but it has to be really over-the-top beating it can't be just a normal
They're instructed not to. Current wrestlers have said the instructions are to stop wrestling and get out of the way to let Security handle it, and do not do anything physical unless it's literally self defense.
Yeah Travis Browne, Harry Smith and Shane McMahon (none tiny dudes) were on the jackass like lightning and beat his lights out. But my favorite part was while he was being escorted out by security, one of the guys from The Revival came up to him and just blasted him square in the face. Hell of a punch!
