Back in X-Plane 11 after quite some time, and here with a new product from JustFlight. I take a look at Traffic Global for X Plane, which brings in realistic aircraft, routes and flights across the entire world, simulating hundreds of flights to and from airports, with hundreds of liveries, thousands of routes, hundreds of aircraft models and a whole host of features... all for just a few FPS! What could be better?

Thank you for taking the time to go over Traffic Global. I'm still on the fence if it is worth it since I already have World Traffic 3 (WT3). Some of things Traffic Global is missing right now WT3 already has like SIDS and STARS approaches for AI Traffic, Freight & GA traffic (although it sounds like JustFlight is working on those for their product). The big plus right now for Traffic Global as I see it is the low resource requirement and you don't have to generate AI traffic for each flight like I do now with WT3. However, at $52.99 USD, that is pretty steep imo for a product that is still being developed and really should be in Beta2 right now as it stands. Cheers!

I believe that Traffic Global does have SIDS and STARS, but also simplifies routes, but I shall have to check that to be 100%. I am 90% certain of that. I have not seen freight traffic yet, but I imagine it is there if real routes are there for it. GA Traffic is the only thing that I know is missing but being added soon. I would say that World Traffic is a much better add-on for X-Plane than Traffic Global. However, to have World Traffic work well takes a bit of time in preparing each airport you expect to fly into or out of. It is rare that an airport has been prepared well enough to accept World Traffic. But once you get the airports edited, World Traffic is (in my opinion) a much better traffic add-on. The BIG plus for JustFlight is that one does not have to edit airports to have a traffic add-on that works pretty well.

All about opinions but that's very surprising. We'd say TG is way head of WT, but then yes we would say that. Luckily the majority of people seem to agree. Good luck and enjoy using WT though, if that's your traffic program of choice.

@@justflight traffic global passes wt3 in only two areas, no load times for traffic and traffic everywhere at one time. Wt3 is more detailed in animations, ground ops such as domestic/ int flights, formations, alternate airports etc. If wt3 had the ability to do what the two things I had mentioned before, it would be unbeatable

@@ysfsim No problem, that's your opinion and it's fair to say that both programs are designed and developed to specialise in different areas and to offer a certain style of experience to the end user. Not knocking WT3 at all, it's just our opinion that TG is a big improvement and when you are able to spend much more time with it you'll find a lot of the other features it provides too that also enhance the experience. And the new update due this week, we hope improves things further.

@@justflight Are you ever going to offer a sale on Traffic Global? $52.99 is really steep. I feel to really give the product a chance, it would need to be in the $30-$35 range. Cheers!

its ok but as a lot of bugs aircraft landing short of the runway black textures on some aircraft egcc takeing off on 5 right wich never will happen aircraft upending on there tail when landing needs a lot of work

What about small GA stuff? Wouldn't do me any good, I fly almost exclusively small airports and VFR. I'd like to see some VFR flying around small airports. Thanks for your videos.

Press C for free cam, then you can move around with the arrow keys, as well as the < and > keys, and look around with the mouse

Now I'm looking forward to part 2. It's going to help me decide if I get it or not. If the AI are running on a schedule how do you/me fit into that? No-one seems to have covered that in a vid yet....

I have not had experience with x-life so I cannot compare the two, but I can say that Traffic Global is extremely good!

Traffic global for shure. I had the x-life but it just didnt deliver as much as Traffic Global. But if you dont want to spend $52. x-life will do.

You can get rid of the labels by editing the ini file. But this product is riddled with problems.

Obviously JTG is not true to life otherwise it would show all Great Britains airport parking spaces and incoming flights full of PIA Aircraft. Air India.airlines and Indigo airlines. Get real Justflight .

Yes - when making a video in a rush because of recording issues, you tend to make these mistakes. I am a fully qualified rocket scientist and can tell the difference between most aircraft.
