Siren:
"In Greek mythology sirens were dangerous creatures who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and singing voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island. Sirens sang a beautiful, irresistible song. In modern usage siren can refer to anything that tempts a person away from safety, toward a destructive path. They were usually depicted as half woman, half bird. Sirens were said to only have the ability to hypnotize sailors, bring storms and destroy ships, but they could also see into the future."
