This man is a genius and a legend. One of the most intelligent, well spoken men of all time in the rap game. So many youngsters and up and coming rappers could benefit tremendously from hearing his message. I grew up listening to this artist and I'm an even bigger fan now, not only of his music, but also for what he represents and the positive messages he portrays coming from such negative situations. So many people in his shoes would come out dark and tainted and angry at the world, but he chooses to shed light, love, wisdom, and positivity.

This guy seems to have truly evolved...His words are powerful beyond measure. I arrived in Sacramento exactly 1 day after this crime for which he was imprisoned was committed. I lived in a house on Luther DR behind Burbank High...I would soon make friends with people who were closely connected with Mrs. Harris and her family. I formed an opinion of this man based off of the people around me, I held that opinion up until tonight, watching and listening to him speak. I hope that the place he is in today will be a protective hedge around him as he continues to evolve. However...I cannot help but believe that there are certain elements that would not hesitate to take his life even today.

He has accepted his wrongs he did in the past, he has apologized to the family that he hurt, & knows his failures and accomplishments. As a teenager I was bumping XORCIST & UNFORGIVEN VOL.1 & Raided spewed his hate and anger against a system that fucked him and still was fucking him. Bro... I have a different level of respect for you. I hella appreciate the things you would have changed, "Pride and Joy", but as I'm sure you know, God works in mysterious and crazy ways. Without you being what and who you were and where you landed, you never would have effected the positive change and outlets for the ones behind bars that without your tribulations, would have nothing but time to do, and you know where that leads a majority of the time. You are a walking blueprint for success, regardless of your circumstances. We have to have the hard lessons in order to build the foundation for success. But we can also gain so damn much from others life choices that if we can learn vicariously from those paths, we don't have to make the same choices and can avoid similar pitfalls. You're a beautiful human being that wouldn't be quite the same man in front of us if it weren't for what you have been through and how you came up. The savages especially need people that are on their level to be able to look at and see that they can be different and turn that ultimate gangster mentality and ruthlessness to get what they want at all and any cost into a crazy positive mission. I personally was at that crossroad and had you and a few others to look at, and particularly your voice and message to listen to, to help me walk up the mountain rather than take the alternate path. You seriously helped me, even though I didn't fully recognize it at the time, and I'm eternally grateful.
