This is just the first day. They usually announce more stuff throughout the week. Really wished it was like Apple where they announce all the products in one stream.
It was the end of my sophomore year at university. X Pro3 has been on the market for about 4 years, defenetly they should launch a updated one. Though rumors say Fujifilm might launch next iteration of GFX 100.

No way they increase the sensor size, that would necessitate a whole new range of lenses. Can't you people have realistic expectations for once? And I thought all the X-Pro 4 begging was bad, but at least that is only a question of when.
I want to hold this camera, just to feel its build quality. I am also happy, that after lusting for the Hasselblad X2D, this new announcement is making me rethink that purchase. The overall features of this camera do surpass the Hasselblad. It shoots video, and can capture wildlife. It might not be as fast as a Nikon Z9 wildlife capture, but it should suit me just fine. I like the new 55mm lens. I think if I get this system, I'll buy the 5mm first. Followed by the 110mm tiltshift for some macro work, then as soon as the 500mm is released, it'd be on it. Nice Fujifilm!
I concur!! Please fix CAF ID and Tracking. At first my XH2s worked great for perched and in flight birds. After firmware 3.0 AF has degraded. AF white box grabs the bird, does not turn green, follows the bird, Lol, but does not bring it into focus.. What’s up with that???? Odd!

@@vitaminq4348 I commented before the stream but I was talking about an X mount telephoto prime 😭 but a medium format lens is appreciated. With the 1.4TC that lens will become a 560mm f6.3 on FF terms. Pretty nice.
Personally I would never showcase an image were the focus is on the eyelashes and not the eye. Other than that it looks to be an amazing camera! Love the tiltshift lens aswell!
As a GFX user for about 2 years I really just have one comment. I would like to see more diversity in your selection of photographers and content creators. There are so many amazing photographers that are not being represented by your brand. Sony and Nikon do a great job in representation and would love to see my favorite camera system do the same.
Hopefully we will start seeing some reviews on YT on real life applications and how this camera fairs. As much as I am a FUJI fan/user, I wonder if the size of it is too conspicuous for street photography. However, it is good to see that Fuji addressed the "speed"' issue with the new model.
Hi Fujifilm, some suggestions: - Hope you guys can consider developing a line of F1.2 lenses (release with 38mm F1.2 and 135mm F1.2; follow up with in between focal lengths and one wider than 38mm) with linear motor in the next few years. This can be made more premium than F1.7 lenses, or a more price accessible line with some reduced costs passed on to make GFX really a go to with these lenses (maybe reduced cost with no aperture ring? Since most users will want to use at around F1.2 anyway) - Hope the UI can also be revised. Seeing the nice new camera body design with the UI which has a dated design language is quite jarring. The current UI doesn’t allow for sufficient spacing for text and things in English are kerned very tightly together. It’s ok but not very pleasing. I think Leica, Blackmagic and Hasselblad has approached this in a better way at least in terms of being more comfortable to the human eye (to borrow the language used in this launch video). - Hope the hinge and rotating display design used on cameras like Panasonic S1H, Sony A7RV etc. can be implemented on next GFX cameras. - Changing from rubber to hinge door or even a roller shutter type mechanism for port covers on next GFX cameras as rubber tends to disintegrate over time. Look forward to seeing the GFX system continue to grow and develop.
Now my 50r truly feels like a dinosaur but one I’ll never let go extinct, love it. Enough with the gfx and others.. WE NEED ONE XPRO TO RULE THEM ALL.. XPro4 with this body design Please.. 🎉
Since I switched from Canon to Fujifilm X a few years ago, I wait for the T/S lenses on the X mount each year. Hope this will occurs in 2024. Please.... 🙏
I love where Fuji is going and I will move up from my GFX50SII for this. On an entirely different note, the presentation needed help - Fuji needs a strong marketing person to lead the direction and pacing of these announcements - it was very stiff, awkward and stale. Fuji needs to take a look at any Apple Event to learn how a product should be launched.
Yes. This is painful to watch and im saying this as a total fuji fanboy who owns 8 of their beautiful cameras…but when i see the artists they represent and the people talking on these videos, it really takes away from their magic
Please give us option to assign atleast one FN button to take stills images while recording video. Without having to stop recording (for X-T5). Images can be a 'M' or 'L' HEIF files, saved to the same sd card or on the 2nd card.
@@th1649 That’s better than nothing, but it’s still easier to compose with blacked out edges and it would be an easy firmware update. I had it with the GFX50R and loved it. Plus, out of camera panorama JPEGs are lovely
@@picturemaker Regards, I was just speculating, I wrote X-Pro 4 because the 3 needs to be renewed, which is already discontinued in most stores, as is the X-E4. From the company's expectation campaign, it is evident that it would be one of the GFX series

Maybe at some time in the future I will add the GFX system to my X-Kit ;) That said ;) dear Fujifilm, I don't know if possible, but I would love the ability to record video directly on SSD on my X-H2 as well as having the new film simulation. If that GFX has low rolling shutter and adjustable shutter angle, that's it. That's the bridge for people like me who need the capability of a cinema-oriented camera while having maximum creative flexibility for photos as well. I usually shoot solo, documentary style mixed media at crowded and unpredictable events. So this could be the ultimate tool for my sort sort of mixed bag of documentary shooting needs.
Nice news - but i stil wait for lens like 40mm/1.7 - becuase my prew. 90% used lens for FF was 35/1.4 ... next 135/1.8 (that i use with AF reduction on GFX too) and 14mm 24mm - btw i use sigma art 40/1.4 on GFX too (i try 35/1.4 - but this lens decrease qulaity - but have vintage look like large format camera - sharp only in middle and go blur to edge - and lose draw in edge too - and of course, is not sharp as 40mm) Sigma art 135/1.8 is quality like ofiriginal GFX lenses and 40/1.4 too. Original lens from fuji that i use is 45/2.8 80/1.7 and 20-35/4 - only 80/1.7 is usable in night with-ought light - during day or light is all OK - btw not only flash on low light is needed some ambient light for AF - in day is AF perfect, btw i try take fashion show with GFX100S + 80/1.7 and all perfect - of course, focus only to point, tracking and face detect detect ofter some else face or from visitors - but AF to point is OK. Subject tracking on point work relative OK, not 100% but work - this new GFX been better - but i am happy with GFX100S too - big improvement from GFX50R that i used before - i take usually models - like fashion, art - sometime travel --- btw for street photo is ideal 35/1.4 and 14/1.8 - with 35/1.4 i taked full body, 1/2 body and models in interiors or exteriors, but with all around, not in atelier - i like story with real world. - sometime i need compression for this i have 135/1.8 ;-) My prew. camera was Nikon D810 - yep perfect and very quick AF on night too - then i know how to quick AF and shoot until subject move
Well done Fuji. You've not only made medium format accessible, you're also laterally developing it into the video space and beyond. This is by far my favorite camera announcement of 2023.
Why is the quality of the paint on the chassis not so good. Used my mic 6-7 times and the color is gone from the hot shoe? Have a fujifilm x-s10 Have totally lost my interest in photography. Had my first fujifilm camera in 1977 and I was very happy
