No camera is perfect. Let @fujifanboys share with you the issues with X-T50 and also why this could be the next Big thing. #XT50 #fujifilm #fujifanboys
Picking up XT200 vibes from this camera… especially with the decision to go with the film simulation dial, and the use of the charcoal grey top plate. No bad thing btw, I really liked that camera …
The biggest problem with this camera is the price. In Malaysia, it is going for RM7999 (Body only). Whereas the X-T5 only costs a little bit more RM8500 (Body only). You get a better battery, weather resistance, dual SD card & etc for just an extra RM500. At this point, the X-T50 makes no sense unless you are looking for a slightly smaller & lighter body.
I think Fuji could have just removed the IBIS and marked down the price a little. Really hope that the rumored upcoming X-E5 will be more reasonably priced.
Are there any other improvements regarding new sensor like more punchier colors and more vivid, or just more pixels and everything else is the same as 4th gen sensor.
‼️ A nice camera. I would buy it if it hasn't the film simulation wheel. This is a toy for Instagram people... p.s. the price for the X-T50 body in Switzerland is actual sFr. 1250.- (€ 1240.-) in Interdiscount shop......
I think prices for all stuff have indeed increase. Many have compare the price of X-T30 II vs X-T50. Unfortunately it's not apple to apple comparison. As X-T50 now house IBIS. It is what it is. Those who loves it will eventually buy it. And those who think it's overprice might even get a X-T5. More value there. Cheers.
Agreed...but IBIS is around for a while now in many cameras like Sony, Canon, Nikon etc. For me and many others it makes no sense to grab an X-T50 instead of an X-T5. In my honest opinion it's way overpriced for what it is.@@FujiFanBoys
In my opinion,Fuji fan XT50 is - Overprice for entry level camera - Ugly design ,no modern,no classic vintage - No weather shield - Too small when use with some lens, its like a baby toy - I don t like simulation film dial ,it s not necessory For me pay more little money for XT5 is better 😊😊😊
It isn't the entry level, that is the X-T30 II It looks like a classic SLR, you clearly haven't had one. The X-Txx has never had WR, it is a differentiator, as is the EVF, dials, dual card slots etc. It isn't meant to be paired with large lenses, size is literally the point of it being smaller. The FS dial is not aimed at you. The selling point of marketing the Fuji to new users is Film Simulations. Size, weight and cost of the X-T5 does not matter to *YOU* it does to *OTHERS*
Don't take life too seriously. I am with you on the Price and Film Simulation dial with the X-T50; Fujifilm as a company have always take risk and try to gain reach a bigger audience. Most of the time they do well and there are also time like X-pro3 and X-F10 which didn't appeal to the market. As for X-T50, they have succeeded in reaching the younger and new to the brand. ( and thus buying more new lenses) As for mature photographer there are still many other Fujifilm options for us. Cheers mate and have a great weekend.
I have the xt5, but prefer the xt50. I have a Leica m6 ttl, Hasselblad 501cm, Ricoh gr3 and gr3x. Told you what cameras I have just like everyone else does, even though it’s pointless. That Ricoh gr3x is no slouch.
