imagine going to an indie metal show expecting the usual and getting a guy going ham on the piano for a solid couple minutes lmao love yoshiki for that
I want that concert!!! amazing!! toshi has an amazing voice and yoshiki... oh my god.. so intensive drumming!! 4 ever x japan! thx pata, yoshiki, toshi..and.. forever thanks to hide and taiji. we miss you heaps. i will never forget you.
I wish Yoshiki would do a remaster of Vanishing Vision, its their best album after Blue Blood in my opinion, and alive is one of their most underrated song, although its too long i think. Ive read somewhere that yoshiki thinks this album is a disgrace or something like that :c
Right? Such an amazing song. And this performance is so passionate. Toshi goes all out, even the guitars have a huge sense of longing. Easy one of my favorite songs by them.
They've played this song more than twice or 3 times I assure you. It's just that the older lives are obviously much harder to come by... They played this in nearly every set list in 1987 and 1988. And perhaps once or twice in 1989, I could be wrong on that one... But 100% positive on the performances in 1987 and 1988. I think this song was even performed once in late 1986.... I'll have to look further into that...
A lot of their older songs were stopped on the 1992.01.06 live when they played some of the Vanishing Vision songs one last time before their final performance on the 7th with Taiji.... It's rather unfortunate they don't play some of their older songs... A lot of their '86 songs were written by Jun and when he left, he also took the rights of playing those songs... Their are tons of X songs people are unaware of... Break the Darkness, No Connexion, Right Now, Only Way, Stop Bloody Rain, Time Trip Loving, Lady in Tears, Endless Dream, Feel Me Tonight, Steal Your Heart, We Are X, Tuneup Baby, Install/Feels Damage.... Even Kurenai dates back to 1984.... X is riddled with old good stuff... It's unfortunate that not a lot of people know these songs, and it's even more unfortunate that a lot of these songs are locked away in a vault....
@rvdli Heath can't play most of Taiji bass line properly that's why bass sound is missing nowadays, can't hear it. Rose of Pain is another example, Heath can't tap.
