Congrats on your openings and rank-ups. Roster looking mighty fine now! I just explored Act 8 as well just now. I'm a little annoyed that I got a tech gem when I don't really have anyone in that class that I'm dying to rank up, while I've been on a roll lately in terms of pulling science champs that I would love to rank up. Among my most recent 7* pulls, I've gotten Photon, Silk and most recently Titania. Photon already went up to r2 and I'll probably have to use the 1-2 gem on either Silk or Titania since the Photon rank-up already bled me dry in terms of science t6cc. Some other notable rank-ups today: I took Onslaught to r5 and ascended him, same with Spidey Supreme and Absorbing Man. Both CGR and Valkyrie went to r5 but I don't have enough dust for them yet. As soon as I've gathered up some more t6b and t3a, I'll rank up a tech champion so that I have some options for that r3 gem. I'm thinking of just being an asshole to the BG community and ranking up someone super annoying that'll stall out the fights, like Mysterio or Sam Wilson. But I also consider just stashing that r3 gem so I have it when I get someone I really want. After all, I'm already Valiant so there's no rush.

I just R3’d my White Tiger and she’s insane. Tons of damage and power control. Super satisfying to shred with. Has some other great utilities too

I saw these rank ups coming but that’s a stacked deck now! Also I’d definitely start using Silk more lags. She’s so good in battlegrounds and she’s one of the best onslaught counters

Took deathless king groot to rank 3, and he’s sitting at level 2 right now as I ran out of iso. He’s basically sitting at a r2 power level, and since I’ve tested him he’s been crushing it. Absolutely recommend taking him to r2 when you attain him

The gold issue is brutal, even with the gold provided from act 8 I didn’t even have enough use the rank up resources rewarded because there wasn’t enough gold given along side them.

You gave me a sliver of hope when you mentioned Overseer, he’s got great utility and hits like a truck at r2 man! Hope he’s your next science rank up. In disbelief you took up Jabari over Chi and Xbones😭to each their own man congrats!

Your science rankup was my 2nd r3 ever for Valiant during cyber weekend. I use 6* Ant-Man relic on him as well but use the rune that places a small taunt on the opponent when you place a power sting. My post Act 8 rankups were awakened Hyperion to r2 with catalysts and WBN and Juggs to r2 with gems. I pulled a mutant 2-3 and could've used it on my sig 80 Domino but decided to use it on my sig 20 Professor X because Bullseye exists and because of X-Magica.

I would say go for Hood, cause thing is already enough tanky and if they have a counter against thing they will cheese him regardless. If no counter they r guaranteed to suck even if r3 7* vs r4 6*. Meanwhile champs like Hood need the most in the game to show off and be useful

Ascended Thing is honestly so fun! Strongly advise you revisit him with the champion synergy. Him being ascended also means he’s basically set as a defender for you for the next year. Hood doesn’t need it as much imo, same way Juggs doesn’t need r3

Werewolf is one of the fastest and best Maestro and Serpent counters and yaa he has nice intercept.

I placed my Ant-man relic on my maxed 6* Void... All the debuffs from Void and the relic just melt through anything. It's so good.

Definitely ascend hood, he's one of those where you want to finish them off in one burst ideally so extra damage would be felt more there

explored act 8 yesterday and pulled a 7* hulk, pulled and duped 7* domino, got onslaught and piggy as 6*s and got a mutant r3 gem. i can get my 7* domino to sign 55 so should i rank 3 her or my 7* bishop?
