What a Timing yesterday late night I was thinking about learning Linux but was not sure where to start now got a little more clarity. Sir, reasons to learn Linux core and kernel INDIA Must have its Own OS for National Security and to compete with West Monopoly please let me know if Indigenous OS is possible with the support of the small team and limited budget I can Donate or contribute anything for my Motherland.

Thanks for your feedback. Actually I started this channel long ago just to share few skbuff & LK Networking subsystem, eventually got a hold and started taking more mainstream. Glad it is useful for everyone. Planning to shoot more interesting episodes in the future 💖 BTW, visit the official The Linux Channel website to go though topics quickly at a glance: thelinuxchannel.org/

Hi Vinod, long ago there was such a distro called ELX Linux. I loved it so much, but I am talking about 2003 or so. you can watch my video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XVaTFmLvzME.html But I haven't found anything recently. But I feel it makes sense to think it is a global endeavour. The whole kernel itself is built by people from all around the world. And hence the distribution too. I dont much see a point a distro is national, vs the actual kernel is world-wide community driven. But that is my opinion. I used to use earlier Fedora, recently 6 yrs ago switched to Ubuntu ecosystem (although I use Xubuntu, which is xfce ubuntu). I love ubuntu for its package system and availability of libraries, other 3rd party dependencies, apps, etc. So I am bound by this eco-system as an expert it is my choice of OS. But for my wife, she is not a techie, I gave her Manjaro Linux. She can do all the stuff comfortably with that.

Good video. I do web dev, but I really want to get into systems programming. I'm still in college and I know a bit about the basics of os and computer architecture like MIPS. What would you recommend?
