I really wish you guys would install some shocks (specifically rears) with rebound control. The reason your vehicles keep getting pitched forward over jumps is because the spring rate (stiffness) is dependent on weight, so the rear springs are going to be stiffer (higher spring rate) to maintain a desired ride-height while supporting the weight of the engine/transmission/etc. However, without any rebound control the higher rate (stiffness) is going to unload all its stored energy as soon as the front wheels leave the ground, thus starting the forward rotation / ‘buck’. Rebound control will allow you to slow the release of that energy reducing the amount of forward rotation / ‘buck’, thus allowing you to jump flatter.
yall need to make a small collapsible ramp. So when your front tires hit it pops up, then ramps come down from pressure leaving the rears flat on the ground be sick!
Just some words of advice, adjust those harness straps in that 1 seater so the slide adjuster isn't on your neck. In a roll over they will absolutely rip your neck to shreds. Ask me how I know....
@@mcp5736 I rolled my 1st Commander X down a hill like a beach ball down a windy beach. My passenger was short so the straps were at his chest. I'm 6'4 and the slide adjusters shredded my neck and ears. I had to get over 30 stitches around my neck and left ear.
Very interesting outcome on the drag racing. Didn’t see that coming. Very way cool, think of the power Opportunities it has left in. CF1 is a monster, I wonder what Polaris thinks watching these videos? There has to be an engineer running around saying I told you all this would be awesome.
If you wanna try to build something to make the unit wheelie try digging in the ground like a gradual bowl that way you can get the front end popped up and then you can apply the power with the rear running flat along the ground
Could you guys do a SXS service to the community, and systematically find and destroy the X3 Squeaks and Creaks so the rest of us can know which places to grease or service. The XRSDS is getting pretty cranky on landings, it’s not all just bushings is it? Hearing a bit of common X3 metallic sounds in there.
I think its time to clean up all the wiring in the rs1 and make legit. its passed the test hah. awesome vid guys. this thing should be a contender if you have Raceday this year!
CF1 has so much potential. Big Turba? Heck ya. Stage 6 sounds good, and a suspension tune up, shocks and springs valved, maybe some HD arms etc. a Simpson seat to take the strain off the driver, it could be amazing. Also, did you guys mess with the clutching any? That engine package came out of a Turbo S right? which is heavier than the CF1, wonder if there is some hole shot to be had by setting it up for the lighter car?
The cf1 is everything I new I could be, I was literally throwing my arms in the air with excitement when it walked past those tuned X3’s,,, how does it stack up against project battlefield and 168 ??
Hahaha Nick I hope your ok. You look like you were launching a rocket for space.👍👍 because that Rs1 is a land rocket man that thing is fast. Wow you boys had your jumping shoes on. Great video as always thanks so much can’t wait for the next one. Stay safe fellas.👍👍
Do a video of rebuilding the can't remember What you guys r call it But RS1 Shock rebuild but before you put flood in the front shocks put them back together and see if you can get a Willie
Mike Hancock Sounds to me like the RZR rear brake chatter that has been there since 2009. I could be wrong but I know I’ve had to grind the edges of new brakes to eliminate that damn chatter
