You have to keep checking the auger area for build-up. These are tough snow blowers. Check the belt pully's before using in the winter, sometimes sand and dirt gets into the bearings and they seize...I've cleaned/ re-packed the bearings for the snow blower & lawn mower deck. My equipment IS getting on in age. It'll be 15 years old this summer.. Enjoy your X310!! I'm running a 2007 Oh Deere (as I call it) X300 with a little over 637 hours on it. Replaced a lot of things in 2020 and it's been doing just great ever since!!! NO MORE SHOVELING!! NO MORE WALK BEHIND SNOW BLOWER !!!! THANKS FOR POSTING !!!!
@@geo_walters just saying..I've made many repairs to my X300. I ran a separate circuit for the starter because of all the relays / switches in the factory wiring. Yeah, I bypassed all the safety's BUT, I STILL operate my tractor as if the safety's were still in the circuit... IF you need a new starter, get the John Deere starter, NOT THE AFTERMARKET ONE!!!!
