I downloaded v.12 this morning and it's working great. Your hard work is much appreciated. I have one suggestion for your consideration. When you add WiFi would you consider adding an IP port mapped to the CAT interface? It would be nice to be able to control the rig remotely over WiFi.
Yes, that's what I planned. Wanted to use HamLib Net protocol. But it turned out that HamLib does not know how to use it through a serial port. So TCP/IP will be HamLib Net protocol and serial port will be X6100 protocol
Nice firmware. It works perfect. Just one thing: I think the spectrum is to close to the top. Could you split the spectrum and waterfall in the middle of screen? Or make it adjustable. Thank you for this fine work
You can always change the upper bound of the spectrum. As experience shows, not every signal reaches "to the ceiling". The waterfall is more informative, so more space is allocated to it. Maybe when I've done everything and I'm getting bored, I'll make an adjustment to the relationship between the spectrum and the waterfall. But not now.
Everything seems to boot up fine, however the radio freezes when on 20m and scrolling across the band. Always freezes at 14.070. Can not do anything until reboot and then it does the same thing.

In versions 0.11 and 0.12 it is not possible to activate the noise reduction NR, when I enter the submenu it throws me out completely, I tried to upload the firmware again but the problem remains. Any chance you would do a fork of your firmware to minimize it and give us larger text and no waterfall? I am blind in one eyte and not seeing so well in the other. It would help greatly! Thanks!
@@R1CBU Give me a way to take down the waterfall and make the top half of the screen twice as tall. It would be perfect! Bring the button menus up over the screen same as you have but making the main interface large perfect! Thank you!
@@R1CBU Not asking for perfect. Just the ability to turn off a function. Sorry you feel that way but good luck adding the much more complex voice interface. Hopefully it goes beyond any of the former attepts that IMO are fails and could easily go a bit farther if a programmer and a blind ham actually got together.
Олег доброго времени, решил попробтвпть твою прошивку, так и не понял как после установки ее закрепить в трансивере. Если вынуть карту памяти то при последующем включении грузится стоковая прошивка, да, еще проявился такой баг, начинаешь перестраиваться по частоте или просто изменчешь настройки, радо виснет идет звук приема на кнопки не реагирует, активна только кнопка выключения и то с большой задержкой((( подскажи что делаю не так? Заранее спасибо, 73
Олег спасибо за своевременный ответ, у меня была мысль про карту, поменял уже три штуки, даже из регистратора из машины вынул, результат один и тот же(((( даже и не знаю что делать. Если не затруднит, дайте ссылку на описание какая кнопка за что отвечвет в вашей прошивке. С уважением.
@@user-gt4eu8cd6b пока нет единой документации. Описание всех функций есть в моих видео. Когда выходят видео с релизами версия - я объясняю что появилось или изменилось.
А есть куда писать о найденных багах? На диапазоне 14 МГц шел по CW, потом решил перестроиться на SSB, увеличил шаг до 500Гц, крутанул валкодер и все изображение на экране замерло и так и осталось. Причем валкодером кручу - перестраивается.. но изображение так и зависло. Помогла только перезагрузка.
Это очень похоже на проблемы с SD картой. При изменении настроек через 3 сек происходит их сохранение. При смене бэнда тоже. Если с картой проблемы то запись приводит к похожей ситуации.

@@borga1298 I have already written about this many times. All bands are described in the database. You just need to add a line there. Someday there will be a built-in band editor. But not now.
@@kd4yal1 I'm using Windows 11, set WSJT-X to X6100, com port is 16 on my PC will be different on yours, baud set to 19.2k, DTR is HIGH, PTT is CAT, and Mode is USB. Audio set to the USB Audio Device created by the X6100. Hope that helps.
