Still one of the best video game soundtracks to this day. Technosoft always used some of the coolest sounds. I only ever knew the Sega Genesis version. Thanks for posting this one 👍
Of all systems, the 68k has the biggest library of shmups. It has even some more than the PC Engine/TG16 to offer. It's just amazing, they're barely countable. Does anybody know the exact number of existing shmup titles on 68k?
Yes, because it's "just" a port on less powerful hardware. The Genesis version lacks one layer of parallax scrolling, it has less colors and sprites on screen and the resolution is lower (I think it is). Some details, like the intro sequence f.e., is also missing. But both versions play good and are really enjoyable.
