X8 scratch build Dji 03 Octocopter drone. Maiden flight constructed from two 4inch frames. 

Maiden flight on a cold windy damp Christmas day! of my scratch built x8 from two Armatten frames upside down, Emax Eco 2400kv motors, speedybee f405 v3 flight controller, speedybee 35a esc's, dji 03 air unit, crossfire nano receiver, 4inch props, took a bit of work constructing the frame and also had to make a top plate to mount the battery, will run on 4 or 6s batteries, i would say the flight time compares to a standard 5inch quad. Raw footage at 2.7k from the dji 03 air unit no adjustments made in the editing of this video except cropping of the length of the clips, some props in view from the upper propellers may move the camera mount forward a bit to address this.
