To some, living in a huge house, having tons of friends, and a lot of parties, that is success, but to me, I would pay a million dollars to not have to be around people, and to live in a modest, drug/alcohol/religion free environment. You cannot judge someone elses outcome, how can you judge someone elses outcome when you do not know their goals, it seems you have lost the plot dude, sorry, that must suck on a daily basis. @@bradleestone5344 both amazing for different reasons. Xasthur is more atmospheric, creepy, and hauntingly depressive. While Leviathan sounds much angrier, faster, and brutal. Both can do each other's specific style quite well, but the majority each other's discography is defined by these slight differences.

I find it gives energy instead of taking it, unlike some other musical genres :)

@@Elitetiger27 Malefic’s earlier stuff uses a machine, and so a machine is probably used for his side of this split, too. Wrest has always used a kit, I think.

Malefic used drum machine since Xasthur started until the year 2007 that he could buy a real drum set, which was in Defective epitaph where he showed the drum set right on the music album. In the One Man Metal documentary he mentions that but he doesn't want to admit that from the beginning he used the drum machine. And Wrest, I understand that from his beginnings he also used an electronic drum kit. Until this split he was able to play a real drum set (and the sound change is noticeable unlike his first albums like The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide and the demos like Shadow of No Light).

Uh nope… That’s a dude(me) playing a Roland V-drums kit on the LVTHN… Only ever used a Dr, Rhythm drum machine on the first Lurker of Chalice demos
