Right thing - Xavi lacked too many things because he is too newbie. Structure, character in front of adversity, character in front of pressure, etc... Best manager at hand - like you said - look at Europe. Hopefully, it'll work.
All this sympathy with xavi is hypocritical. Where was the sympathy for keoman ,valverde ,setien etc. Xavi got full support form laporta but he went to far and as a leader you have to make hard decisions . Laporta never did anything wrong. It's the xavi fanboys who is trying to turn thia into something its not.
Barca has to rely on their young talents because La Masia is their best chance to leave their money problems behind. They can't go on spending. I don't know about Flick tho. He seems to be more of a motivational coach like Ancelotti. Also Kimmich is cancer for a team. Or at least he can be. Hard to say tbh.
And if Laporta is in trouble and he’s kicked out, God help us. I don’t see another president that can straighten this club except Perez but if cuz he’s a Madrista. Flick is a great appointment. Xavi was too inexperienced to begin with but he did well enough.
I’m gonna defend Koeman. Firstly, he had ZERO support from Laporta. Secondly, Koeman tried to tell the fanbase that they needed to place more emphasis on physicality, pace, workrate, but everyone, including the club, railed against it. Thirdly, he had no striker, his wingers were hurt, his only CB was a developing Araujo. Fourthly, Xavi didn’t take that exact same team and lead them to the title. He got reinforcements in January to help them make a similar comeback to what Koeman made the year prior. And then he was given over 250m Euros to spend on players. Even Messi himself said that Koeman was blamed for a lot of things that weren’t his fault.
Mauricio Pochettino with Chelsea. Xavi Hernandez with Barcelona. Stefano Pioli with Milan. These 3 clubs are a clown! I think ETH will be the next victim, depending on the FA Cup Final results 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wish we would stop trying to guess about the finances and signings. I know it’s hard to accept but La liga finances is public information. The club will need to pull more levers if they want to sign players. Hansi is going to have to work with the current players in the club. We need to be cautiously optimistic about Hansi, not all in on someone who is not Pep, he’s not a HR hire. Barca doesn’t have the money to support a high profile manager with signings. I beg Laporta to sell anyone he can for profit and focus on La masía for a couple years. Yes, Madrid may dominate us. If we take some steps back it’ll only be for 2 years, right now FCB will be behind them for 5-7 years if things don’t change. We need to stop being gaslit by these Twitter accounts that paraphrase articles and only “report” what you want to hear. Great vid tho.
Xavi was so busy trying to recreate the Spanish national team on FC Barcelona and forgetting talents like Felix and Roque SMH I'm grateful for his achievements but he's not the guy Flick ALREADY knows about the financial situation and he's still willing to come regardsless Xavi wanted to leave in the summer I don't think ppl knew that. He tells Laporta in private that he can succeed with the current squad, but in public he says the opposite. Mike the system NEEDS revamping, we relying on being so technical and not being physical enough. The only signing he def wants is Kimmich Max 45M purchase He wants Roque and Lewa to compete for the ST role aka Roque is staying (🖕🏾Xavi) Nico Williams might be on his way 60M purchase THINGS ARE HAPPENING 😂
Right decision wrong timing/situation. Similar to the Allegri thing at Juve. What is the bigger concern is Laporta decision making 😂 coz bruh the man decided to quit and peacefully leave, only for their board to convince him to stay and give him backing and then once Xavi spoke out against the board (mind you he didn't even say anything bad he just spoke to some of the truths that Laporta had been hiding) they then turned around and canned him all over again lmao. But alas, as a Madridista i will miss Xavi, coz even tho Barça have us a few beatings under him, it was fun to have him constantly complaining and having to deal with Laporta's nonsense. Whereas now if Barça get a good coach and someone who has no ties to them as a club that person won't stand for Laporta's nonsense as much which would be a good thing for them as a club coz right now they need a coach who is going to be able to get the most out of their players being able to use the youth but also create tactical solutions to some of the gaps in the squad that can't be filled by expensive signings. Coz Barça don't need to spend spend spend and keep pulling levers, they just need a solid DM and a good tactical foundation and they'll be fine.
