There is… I don't have the link any right now but look at all the videos on my channel you'll see a full hour long video where I put a Xavion through all its paces in my evolution
I guess it would make sense to create a database of all the segments of freeway networks that will facilitate safe landing (e.g. 2+ segregated single direction lanes without crossings or obstacles).
Awesome feature and easy to use! Wish you the best Austin in 2021 and can't wait for some exciting news on X-Plane's future :). Some thigs are getting more and more obvisou from your "feature request" page, but would be nice having Q&A video after some time or even maybe let us take a peek into pot whot are you cooking :). All the best, health and luck in 2021 Austin!
Forgive my ignorance but I don't understand why you can't have the hoops for one of these off airport markers. Can't you give it like a generic "worst case scenario" setting for these markers?
the problem is then you need exact heading, threshold locations to line up the landing rollout evenly between them, all that stuff. the idea here is you dont have all those precise details.. but we can still tell if you are in gliding range!
I'm Iñaki from Buenos Aires Argentina with 11 years old, could you design a flying car on X-Plane 11 like the PAL-V Liberty but with retractable wings and retractable gear?
Oh, cool question!!! The answer is yes! Kind of. You can do autogyros in x-plane, and have wings sweep like an f-14 tomcat. But you have to know about pre-rotate on the rotor to get it spinning, and stuff like that. A lot of complexity. But in theory, do-able.
I AM SOOO ADDICTED TO THE NEW CIRRUS JET SF50 I CANT STOP FLYING IT ANYWAYS GOOD JOB! LEMINAR TEAM YOU GUYS DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANE😍
@AustinMeyer - At LAX class B airspace there is a "Special Flight Rules Area" ( a window) that allows you to navigate through Class B air space VFR while NOT having to contact ATC. Does Xavion show this Area in its 3D space a a tunnel or at all?
hello, being satisfied with my old use of xplane 10 then 11, I have a problem with DVDs that no longer work to interpret my license so how can I do in this case except buy another license or is there a way that I do not know yet and who would be offering your services good day in France
@@austinmeyer You are so lucky. I wanted a C208 Grand Caravan G1000 before I go to a better land. But, for now, and because of my low bank account, I'm going to play with the one from Carenado and Xplane. Keep up the good work. I'm with X-Plane all the way.
@@austinmeyer if unable to comply with an ATC clearance responding "Unable" would be more appropriate. Not sure how it'd go over here in europe saying negative where ATC is more air traffic CONTROL and less a service like it is in the USA.
@@xairline5082 Ooohhhh boy. OK so now I'll specify every detail of phraseolgy. OK fine. When I say "No" in a youtube video, or make a joke saying "negative" in a comment, I am not actually using the same phraseolgy that I use on the radio. My radio phraseolgy is always courteous and within polite and professional norms.
@@austinmeyer Hi Austin, the comment was more for the general audience. Anyways I fly a PC12 in Europe. I uploaded some engine fail training vids recently. I plan to upload more demonstrating the upper lower gate technique we use when the engine fails at a higher altitude. Similar to the circles in your app. Although SET IMC (commercial single engine imc ops) is now legal in Europe most regulators are extremely allergic to the idea. Many operators have issues with flt planning for certain routes over the alps and then difficulty proving how the would glide to an airport in the case of engine fail over high terrain. Maybe if Xavion also functioned as a flight planning tool it could solve this problem. Cool APPS!
