Xawaash is a great Somali/Mediterranean food place to check out and you will definitely love it! It was inspired from restaurants and bars in the capital of Somalia called Mogadishu. Hence, the photos in the restaurant.

I've been to this restaurant once during the "pandemic" and I give it 1 star out of 5. It's fake and bland as hell. Definitely not up to standard. had I been in the states I'd had asked for a full refund. Even their tea was disgusting. Like how can you mess up the tea?

Im from Finland i will come all the way from Europe to Canada just to try his food it look so delicious that chicken remind me of nandos chicken 😫 glad u liked the food 👍🏽

I love Somali halwa there's a place in Nw London and they have the best halwa in the country. On Eid Muslims especially Somalis & Arabs literally pre-order weeks before in time for Eid celebrations

I like how u guys ate the food lol but the bread and sambusa u eat it together always and the jelly thing we call it xalwo “halwa” it’s eaten with coffee or biscuits or separately. The green sauce it’s called “basbaas” it’s famous Somali chillie sauce we eat it with everything sambusa, rice and pasta. New subscriber here keep it up 👍🏽

missy Milia thanks so much for letting me! Yeah I love that whole combination! The sambusa, xalwo and bisbas are my favourite. When we went to the Sahan restaurant they had bisbas too. So cool how Pakistani and Somali Cuisine relate ❤️. Lol thanks for subscribing 😎. lol I’m getting hungry talking about the food 🤣🤣

Eat, Play, Travel Eat Glad u enjoy it Masha’allah also I’ve had Pakistani food it’s yummy especially the lamb biryani and yeah both cuisine do relate. Also next time u go for Somali food try Bariis ( rice) Hilib (goat meat) with basbaas and Moos (banana) eaten all together 😂 👍🏽 unfortunately I can’t have now Sahaan’s food as am from uk but it did looked delicious 😋

Haha yeah I love Somali food! Lol nice biryani is good. You have to go to Pakistan to experience the real deal lol. Oh thanks for letting me know I will try all that together, can't wait!
