Frl worst controller i made 3 returns and the 3 controllers last not even 1month lost of money stick drift asf man no xbox controller has losses joistick like that this controller is is shit i would not buy that bullshit if anyone ask
The colour is good but like all Xbox controllers it's cheaply built and will break the first time you hit it and develop stick drift if you leave it outside of it's case for a week
@@alexandercatterson223 I wouldnt say as much for the 2 i've baught in the past year, I have 1 for my PC & 1 for my Xbox. Both i would say the build quality is a 75/100 but the color scheme in "Pulse Red" is nice, thats what I have & they have lasted me for quite a while. I even have the rechargeable batteries in them both, & really have nothing bad to say about them. Do you have this brand by chance?
Thats awesome. Im impressed with Xbox. I only owned PS consoles from PS1 to PS5 and bought an Xbox SX for the first time, and I'm very happy with it. I actually prefer it now. Will definitely order a custom controller.
@@AFREAKINGLEMON i do have a cat. He just doesn't go near my PC's desk as he has been reprimanded multiple times before for unplugging my HDMI mid game. I know he wants to go there for warmth but i can't let him damage the cables
@@Ferrari255GTO *😂 my cat also loves to sit on top of my series X fan for the warmth but thankfully it's the hairless ones that likes it my hair ones just leaves it alone 😂*
I also learned that if you accidentally hit buttons on the back too much, or get sore fingers, scuf makes really nice back paddles meant for the controller that feel more ergonomic.
A lot of the elite controller have unresponsive face buttons I think they cheap out on the face buttons for the elite controller because they think people are going to use the paddles instead. But idk for sure.
Open it up and bend the plastic sheet that's covering the bumper button. Use a plastic tool and start by the top left or right of the xbox symbol. It needs some force to open but the face cover is the only part you need to remove to get access to the part mentioned
Bro this is legit the best controller I’ve ever owned hands down the only thing I don’t like is the grips on the side after hours of play, make my hands kind of sore
I used to love my OG elite controller. Was a b day gift and used the heck out of it. My favourite controller ever. Shame I stopped playing Xbox, moved to PlayStation and I gave it to my brother. I’ve given him like 4-5 controllers over the years and he always breaks, loses or secretly sells them I swear. This controller was no exception. I asked what happened to it a few years ago and he simply say idk like wtf it cost like £120
i love the original and the white (core) version as well. down side of the core, it doesnt come with the paddles and the swappable buttons. you have to buy the complete components pack for it.
Because it was designed to be a cheap replacement when your original elite breaks. You keep your buttons and paddles and just buy the frame again for cheaper.
Had this controller for 2 years and I would say it’s a great controller. It’s had its issues so idk if it’s worth the $180. I just bought the vectrix gambit for $100 and it’s the best controller I ever had
Totally not worth, bought one for 105€ and ended up selling it, has worst control pad than the regular xbox controller and buttons works a litle bit different, for me , worst. Ended up using regular xbox series controller and 8bitDo ultimate, for me the perfect one, truly control pad (no clicky) and back buttons, fully progamable and macros can be used.
We don’t want that trash. Particularly a mic on the controller. There are already too many children yelling over their mics. The triggers, I’ve heard good and bad about those. Seems some people like them and some don’t.
This controller was amazing for 6 months and then it started to have issues. The trigger buttons stopped working, the controller kept on disconnecting, and all the solutions were temporary
As soon as the controller starts having issues make sure u return it and get another one with your Warranty. The last 4 years Ive been thru 6 elite controllers same issue Stick drift and Stuck bumpers
I have both the series 1 and 2 and they’ve been good controllers. I will admit the series one seems to have a batter quality control because I’ve never had any problems with drive or any buttons not working. On the series 2 I had the bumpers stop working so I took it apart and cleaned the bumpers internals and my controller works like new again. My series one I beat the crap out of. I’ve dropped it uncountable times. I used it so much that the rubber grips came of and it still works good. I’ve had it for about 4 years and sometimes I choose it over my series 2. Mostly because I keep my series 2 paired to my PC, and my series one is always connected to my console. They are both good controllers but like everything else they aren’t perfect.
I really hope they fixed the QC on these controllers man. I’ve had close to 3 and they all get stick drift or either have faulty buttons such as the RB. I got the Razer V2 chroma
@@AKaBig yea not the best 😂 you have the 1 year warranty but I would def not recommend it for any input heavy game such as warzone and fortnite. I killed my rb in a week lol
@@eyup yes I do my friend. I recently had an issue and was able to replace the controller since the warrenty at razer is really nice. The buttons are mouse clicking.
I went with purple and red, the real criminals are the dumbasses that make the most atrocious color combos like green with brown and blue and a little hint of red and pink
@@megabc4112 stick drift, and the right bumpers go bad. It's come to the point where I had to map it to the back button. I've had my control repaired under warranty through Microsoft 3 times for stick drift & the RB button gone faulty. They just put cheap parts in it and charge extra money. Maybe someday when an elite 3 controller comes out, they'll throw some decent parts at it
Pro tip to avoid stick drift: take off thumbsticks when not playing, since they are magnetized I think when charging while not playing some undesirable things may happen….your welcome 😎
Don’t get me wrong these controllers are fantastic, but the build quality is shocking. I’ve had multiple replacements and once the warranty is up you’re kinda stuck with a broken controller. I also don’t want to hear about how I don’t look after my controllers. They quite literally come out the box broken. Either stick drift or failing buttons like the LB/RB. You buy a premium product you expect the quality to be just as premium.
No. This gamepad has a huge percentage of marriage. The sticks drift and the buttons often don't work right out of the box. Read reviews on these gamepads.
@@user-mn3sp6om8t a mi nunca me pasó y todos los que conozco lo recomiendan, además puedes encargarlo de los colores que quieras más la latencia dinámica, pero es como todo siempre sale un lote defectuoso.
I always wanted a yellow construction themes ps4 or xbox, but not including black lines, I would want the edges to look like I beams with the look of bolts keeping the controller in one piece 😅
I literally bought the same model controller yesterday from Facebook market place for $40 never knew it would be that crazy controller stuff , I just wanted a original Xbox one controller
I bought an elite controller in 2018 and I still have it. No joystick drift, all my buttons and bumpers work perfectly and the thing is in good condition.
@@idofivethings6222 I have a PC worth over 4 grand I built myself. I also take that PC very serious. No I don't eat while I game. 😲 Definitely not that. 😂
bruh xbox would rather bring games to all platforms for everyone to enjoy, unlike sony where they like to gatekeep exclusives and force people to play on their systems. the whole console war is childish af
I’m a fan of all consoles and gaming platforms but even I will admit I’m more biased when it comes to PlayStation but I will always stand behind the fact that Xbox has always had more creativity with their controllers. Their color combinations and designs on a lot of their controllers is fantastic 👍
To the people saying that it’s gonna get stick drift, you know it’s pretty rare on Xbox controllers, it’s not a Nintendo joycon, just keep it clean and no issues will develop. Also if you ever need to clean it make sure you use pure IPA with a alcohol percent on 70% or more so the cleaning is actually doing good and not just getting water into the sticks.
i got an elite series one controller and it only lasted about a year and it was well looked after, started getting stick drift and button mashing on its own and the whole case started too break apart on the controller, warranty ran out the day after i checked the box for it 😊
