This controller is a masterpiece. I just got one and I have no regrets. It has made me so much better while playing games with my friends. At bit costly but totally worth it.
@@NoName-cu3rfI’m in the same boat as you I’m gonna grab one in a couple of weeks but I’m getting the core blue one and I’ll buy the accessories separately because the bumper issue was sorted with the elite series core 2 I’ve gotten to GC on rocket league and the standard controller isn’t enough for me anymore lol
@@jimbojqmbo I still haven’t got it yet I’ll be grabbing it next week but supposedly the bumper issue was fixed but I can’t say for certain until I see myself
@@LimitzX1I’ve been using the elite controller for 3 years and it’s great I did have an issue with a bumper but fixed it. Now on the other hand I bought a white core controller and the bumper went completely out can’t fix it at all so I stuck with my black one and ordered a custom controller coming Saturday
@@slayzlmao1769 have one atm, had it for a year already, you might want to consides something else like razer wolverine v2 pro since the controller has a high chance of buttons going unresponsive, especially l1 r1 and the b button for some reason, i suggest getting something else sadly
@@slayzlmao1769 yes i already buy it 5 months ago and still good,no drift,no problems,i recommended for using those paddle, the left one is left thumbstick and right one is right thimbstick, because sometimes when you press the thumbstick even on every controller will make it has a drift soo i change mine to use the paddle as a thumbstick button and yeah still good :)
Ordered one and when i unboxed it, it came with a faulty bumper straight out the box… no click at all and the quality was just not all there. I’d recommend the scuf instinct pro if you have a $200 price range for an Xbox style controller
This controller is absolute garbage, and anyone who says that it only has issues because ppl don't take care of it is an Xbox shill. Microsoft literally got sued because of this controller, and that truly speaks volumes about how crap it is.
@@KATIA95 Xbox elite series 2 controllers are hit and miss. Mine barely survived the 2 year mark. Stick drift, both bumpers not registering, 2 paddles are mushy and often don't respond, A, B and Y face buttons are mushy and often don't respond. For some people they can last, mine didn't. On the other hand, my regular dualshock 4 is still working almost perfectly besides a sometimes non-responsive D-Pad down button. I bought an EasySMX X10 for 50€ and hope it will hold up. Has hall effect sticks too so we'll see how long it lasts.
@baza0383 My DS4 is 4 years old, and I've not been that caring with it, but I've still had 0 issues. I don't use it anymore since I upgraded to a pro controller with hall effect joysticks. But it's still better built than the Elite 2.
I mostly play call of duty and I bought one and it’s totally worth it. Very high build quality. You won’t burn through batteries because it supposedly works for 40 hours before you recharge it. You can toggle the triggers to have a very short press to activation so you shoot faster. You can also map the paddles so I have them set to slide and jump and never take my thumb off the aiming stick to do either of those actions.
My dad promised me 2 years ago to buy me this controller🙂 But one day we were about to buy it, then my mom screamed she said that if i buy the controller she will be break that controller if i buy it😭 it was my dream ive been dreaming it even while i was sleeping😭😭
I baught this controller off amazon and the packaging sucker it was already opened and the controller back paddles were broken i really want to get a refund but i will have to wait like a week 😢
@@arthurholmes49792 years lifespan for a such an expensive controller is a fucking joke lol, my stock PS4 controller has lasted twice that amount of time.
no the elite series 2 does not work with batteries it has a charging dock or you can just be normal and use the usb c port [charging dock is not power bank btw]
