That is indeed great news that sensitivities are now saving in the HOTAS One! I’ve been doing the quick 30/50/50 settings that you showed in your prior vid. I will try out these new tweaks tonight. Thanks, HUD!
Thank you for the update! Finally it is saving!! 👍 I have to admit (being a lazy person) this kept me from playing the game more than once since I need those settings to enjoy the flight..
I was flying circles around you while you were paused mid air during one point in this video, I was doing touch and goes in the new Staggerwing at London city airport at the time.
I know sensitivity settings not saving was your pet hate. Looking forward to more videos specifically on Hotas One now this has been resolved. Also time to revisit your AP mapped controller settings. Thanks again
Sensitivity settings are now also saving for the Velocityone on xbox series x. I already liked that controller, but with custom sensitivity settings I positively love it. The only thing now missing is the functionality of the status panel indicators.
Yes, huge plus for the V1F controller now. I understand that the SIP fix is only a matter of time. However the mouse still seems to be losing connectivity after the update, for me anyway.
There is still a problem with the savings on my Xbox-X. Randomly, one of my settings will move 1%. So if I have rudders on -60%, the next time I start the game they're on -59%. Next time I start the game it's maybe the aileron that has moved 1%. It's been like this since I joined Beta SU8. I use both the Thrustmaster T.flight hotas 1 and the Turtlebeach V1F and it's the same on both. All other settings stay unchanged and saved. Take care.
There is another bug which I have reported to Zendesk relating to Hotas One and possibly V1. They have also seen it in testing. If you shutdown the sim completely and then power off the xbox, you find that the hotas one disappears from the controls menu altogether until you unplug and replug the usb socket!! This sim is so full of bugs and lacks thorough testing!
I do most of my sim flying in the Cessna 152. With the new update, the interior cockpit light is much dimmer now. As the 152 doesn’t have cockpit instrument lights, this is a big disappointment. :/
Another RU-vid video shows how to mount the HOTAS ONE onto a plywood board. And then lay the board on your lap. It's a solid mount and allows full control while sitting on a couch or even sitting up in bed It did work for me. You can leave more space in the middle and put a really small keyboard there. Or a programmable number pad for about 15 keys which is really small. To make it soft underneath: Most people have seen an expensive foam lined Pelican lined camera case. But you can buy a much more dense thick foam sheet on eBay or Amazon and glue or velcro that to the bottom of the board. You just need this cheap foam, not the expensive Pelican case. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yuou772Hf00.html
Was it only the series x and s that the problem was ?...... are they fine on the PC.....I'm returning to mfs this weekend after long hiatus..thanks again 👍
Oohps sorry friend only saw your reply now after I posted thanks for all your efforts, going to re find your videos now for settings and freelook and get set up on pc 👍
@@Huddison I got free view in and out but didn't do something right..now I can't seem to follow your hotas video to get it back. I think I've deleted other hat settings and it keeps going to quick views on the outside
Buying a Series S and a flight Controller (either the Hotas One or V1F) is still the best valued way to play FS2020 - I still fly on my Series S often.
