well it's basically the same for windows 11 don't worry you need to > settings > games > recording preferences click the arrow on the first button then choose 30sec or 10 min or 1 min etc..
Hi Tech, I am now on Windows 10 pro OS. Now when I record a movie from a website, I get nothing but a black screen on the recording.. I see the movie as it's being recorded, but when I go to review it, I have a black screen.. And it use to record great. But since I got Windows 10 Pro OS. It doesn't. I can record games and they turn out great, and music videos with it, but full length movies? No, and their in MP4 format. Can u help? I love the Xbox Game Bar...
how do i fix my sound problem? If I turned on my microphone, the sound will delay abit than what's shown in the video. I've already tried increasing the audio bitrate to 196kbps. PLs help
i use nvidia experience record but in xbox pc gamepass it cannot save the record. while xbox game record is too heavy and will result to fps drop. how to optimize it?
Same to me to I gotta open windows back up after I open the game then I make sure I see the fb recording pop up on the right side. only thing I see that seems to work. I also just changed the run in back ground to ALWAYS
If it’s still not working, I recommend downloading OBS to record audio because it’s smooth but for recording gameplay use Xbox game bar for good performance. Hope this helped 🤷♂️
Start your game, then press windows+G to open the game bar. Go to capture and click on it to display the 4 options "Screenshot, Start Recording, Record Last Minute, Microphone" See if the microphone is crossed out. If it is then click on it to enable your microphone. If this doesn't work then make sure all audio is included in your capture settings. I hope this helps
Hi Jordan, sorry to hear that! Did you follow the tutorial? Is your Windows version and graphics driver up to date? If nothing helps, feel free to open a support ticket in our Discord server.
I have one doubt when I'm opening the Skype, I want to record the video of Skype classes (when I'm recorded the video (Skype videos) but the sound is not available(Not coming) self record the video of class) is there any solution for clearing the sound of video recorded?
@@copper438 Well Copper, u can defrag ur harddrive and also store them on an external Drive. Toshiba makes a 2 TB, 4 TB, 5 TB and I do believe 10 TB. I have a 2 TB it cost me $61.95 at Wal Mart, you can find them at any electronics store or online.... Good Luck.
i use the record last 1 minute thing and the recording was always fine but since some weeks the recordings are stuttering, not in all games but in fortnite for example could this be cause of the fps? i used to get like 100fps in fortnite but currently i only get like 80fps, i tried downgrading the driver, updating it, but nothing increased the fps again and the stutter on the recorded videos stay :( i also cleaned the folder so its empty, also tried to change the setting to max performance mode instead of power saving, and i reduced the quality of the videos so they take less space and are more blurred but the stutters are still there
Naw u have to change it in setting, you have “capture last 30 seconds” on 5 minutes instead. It still says capture last 30 secs even though you could have it longer
Can anyone help me? When I start a recording while playing games, it works fine, but when I move my mouse around it sometimes, the mouse appears on the small recording bar on the right side, and it stops the mouse clicking in game and instead click s the bar or even the recording button and closes the recording. This is critical while im playing Fortnite or Valorant, because I try to shoot people, and when I aim to the right that bug/idk happens. Im trying to get rid of that small bar on the side and still record gameplay. Anyone willing to help me, thank u very much in advance.
what you can do is that after you have started a recording, you can close the 'Capture' Bar from which you have started the recording but dont close the 'Capture Status' because then it will end your recording. Thanks Sincerley, Xbox Staff Helper
@@briiiido You cant, but for high quality, you can press Windows key, then search for Capture settings, then look for the Recording Quality setting and change it to High then, change the FPS to 60. Please ensure that you have atleast 8 GB Ram for this setting. Thanks Sincerely, Xbox Staff Helper
Do you mean lag when recording using xbox game bar? Close unnecessary programs and restart your PC. You may need to update your graphics driver or Windows OS.
Does anyone has a problem after capturing the footage, the screen it records somehow turns out to be so highly saturated and bright (till the point its hard to see words with white background), just wondering what causes it, perhaps its just my laptop? I tried changing the settings to high quality video but it doesn't go it. But if there's a way to change it please do let me know, thank you.
In case anyone stumbles across this comment thread: The issue @edvynhayashi mentioned happened for me when I played back my recordings in Windows Media Player (or Windows Media Player Legacy), but the actual video file was fine when I posted it to RU-vid. I'm pretty sure VLC Media Player doesn't have the excessive brightness glitch. Not sure if that's the actual issue which was described, though. As for the issue @matulog has: Are you playing an old-ish game in fullscreen? This happens for me with The Sims 3 (2009) and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (2004) whenever I record in fullscreen. I've solved the darkness + under-saturation problem by playing in windowed mode whenever I record those games. Again, I'm not sure if that's actually your problem, but it's worth a shot to try it.
Thanks for the video :-) XBox setting 60fps and setting High are still only 1920 x 1080 :-( This max. setting degrades a screen capture of 2560 x1440 (2K) :-( However, a screenshot (jpg) is 2560 x 1440.... If you then mix an XBox recording with a 2K video, this is very noticeable :-( Isn't there a better setting possible?
Anyone watching this video, I do not recommend you using the game bar, its a complete piece of trash. I started using it on a high-end pc with Warzone and it dropped the frames and games was unplayable... really bad implementation of the game bar.
