@@exTitos when you set a console to a home console for a account in the settings, it makes all of its games & subscription services available for everyone else who uses that console. So if person 1 (P1) & person 2 (P2) wish to share games, P1 sets P2s console as P1s home console & P2 sets P1s console as P2s home console. Hope that helped you mate 👍.
The controller design is kinda overlooked I think. I feel like with the sharper angles of the grips they want to revive the X type design of the og controller. Anyways I dont wanna sound snobby or sth, just stating an observation based hypothesis. Anyways, thanks for creating one of my favorite channels!
Thanks for the info. Did your DLC transfer across from the One to the Series X? None of mine did. When I first launched Monster Hunter on my Series X, it synched the save data, then gave me an error message saying that it couldn't find any of my DLC.
if the "other" account has xbox live, and the "home" doesn't, does it transfer to the "home"? also, can the "home" account play games that the "other" owns but the "home" doesn't?
So, I am a little confused. I’ve been doing this on the Xbox 1 for a long time now. But let’s say I have an Xbox Series X, and my friend also has an Xbox Series X, will we be able to game share?
@@gaijinhunter I gameshared with 2 people, 1 was playing watch dogs, the other was playing cold war, but the third one couldnt get in any of those games
So just to clairify, I have an series X and S . The S is in my living room and the X in my game room. I will be using the X more than the S. Which should I use as the main console and also will i be to download my saves from which every console I play on and carry on with the other?
I am doing a similar thing to game-share Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate with a friend on my Switch Lite that he currently has (primary switch) and my regular Switch in my home. It works great, just needs 2 accounts (mine and his) with a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription (but we got a family plan with 8 users in so that's solved).
I'm not sure if I fully understand and hopefully someone can clarify. I want to gameshare with my cousin and his xbox would be the "home" xbox for both his and my accounts on his xbox. Then I would sign into both his and my accounts on my xbox but neither account on my xbox would have mine as their "home xbox" correct? And if I have to sign in to his account to access his gold/games, does that mean whenever he logs into his account on his xbox and it signs out of his account on my xbox, I won't have access to his stuff? I hope I explained that clearly and hope someone can verify/correct me!
Little confused. I have the series x, roommates has one x and we did this. But when we try to play the same game it says we can only play the game one at a time. Any help?!
@@tarvb I posted this so long ago so trying to remember what we did. But I think we just both signed out completely, and signed in and have been good ever since
I have two Xbox Ones at home and discovered this by accident and now do it on all my consoles. PS4 i share with father in-law and Switch I split with a guy I met playing Monster Hunter World.
Could you explain game sharing for N. Switch? All the other tutorials are indecipherable, cryptic to the point of no matter how many to times you try you get lost, don't work any more, or are straight up SHI-
Hey bro U can only gameshare on one Xbox correct? Example I can only gameshare on my Xbox series x and not on my series x and old gen Xbox only 1 allowed what I’m asking
Is anyone else having trouble I can’t get my friends Xbox live and Ik he has it because before I switched to series x I had access but then I couldn’t play online but I had access to his games and when I went to his account he could play online
Can I share gamepass with a friend on computer? Also, I remember when the licenses were super exploitable on the 360 Era, I would share my games with like 5 friends and play online together 😂
@@HuddledEragon hm you can game share on pc. you just have to add the acc with the games to the microsoft store, as long as the acc does not change its password you have access to its games.
@@HyruleChosenOneI don't know you can actually do that with PC I thought it was only Xbox exclusive, was that a recent update or has it been out for quite a while.
@@HuddledEragon I game share some play anywhere titles that way like sea of thieves, works well but yeah if the game is only on xbox it wont work of course
Its just kind of annoying that i cant take advantage of gold sales or game pass perks since my friend and i are sharing 3 years of gamepass and it was purchased through his profile.
Hey me and my brother are thinking about gamesharing so he can get a game I have and so I can use his gamepass/xbox gold/ultimate. The problem is the email I wanna use linked to my xbox account to Gameshare with is completely locked. So I made a new account so we can. If we game share will all my accounts on my xbox get game pass/online/ultimate. Or will it only give the account I'm using to game share with that? Please help, Thanks!
Actually You can login multiple profiles at the same tiene in your always online console , while the profile who bought the Game don't sign out You can play with every other profile in both xbox
So, my girlfriends dad put his account on my xbox and made it thw home account. I now have all his owned games. If he was to remove his profile would his owned games indtantly disappear?
I have my friends account as the home and now it wants me to log in.. I longed in but its not show any of his games and not letting me play online.. any idea how to fix it?
I had an issue once where I had to waste on of my yearly changes but taking the console and in settings making it not home console then once again making it home fixed it for me. Brut I caused errors when I removed my xboxes from my MS Account online lol
IM SO LOST. do I need to have my friend sign me out of his? when I try to add his account under "add new" it basically seems like im make a NEW xbox account needing his birthday full name etc. its not just no email and password. HELP, getting annoying lol. xbox series x here and hes on the xbox one s
@@kamadeva5121 ps5 not sure yet.. but don't see why it would change now.. I never bought a game on ps4 or paid for ps+ because my brother shares he's account with me and I share my Nintendo switch account with him
If I bought Cod Cold War (cross platform edition) on the Xbox one and gameshared it with my friend. Would he also receive it when we upgrade to xbox series X?
At this point I think consoles are just for more casual gamers. Not trying to start any wars. But I think the best part about consoles is the accessibility and ease of use. I personally like having a console just because I can turn it on and not think about it. I really realized how lazy of a gamer I was what I started playing on the Switch. I just find it so much easier to pick up and play then booting up a laptop or computer and sitting at a desk. But for people that are accustomed to PC and getting optimal performance its pretty much a no brainer to stick with PC
@@saturatedphat9409 thanks, i have 0 brains for technology and costs tbh. I use my PC for work, videogames, TV so its on all day, and has min requirements for my MHW. Was curious if at least it could be "cheaper" to get a console like this one, guess it wont fit on my needs.
@@GFKCEG you know I may not have given the best information in your case. I dont know exactly how powerful these latest gen consoles are in terms of price for the same power. It sounds like you have a foundation for PC gaming already so I imagine upgrading your PC to the same power would be about the same price but I can't confirm that. PC gaming can definatly get expensive but the new consoles aren't cheap either.
I do this with my PS4 and a friend. I'm much better off money wise so it lets her play everything I have and play stuff together. Played games like Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Monster Hunter World (and Iceborne). Game sharing and Home are great.
@@urcovered1231 wait so if I suppose gameshare fifa I bought on my console and games share it,we can both play the game without me having to buy it again?
