It could turn into something more in the future, access to SystemOS with Game Script and access to GameOS with Vermintide, both of these OS run under a HostOS which itself runs under a secure type-1 Hypervisor with minimal code and small attack surface. This is the closest to a real jailbreak in a long time, and will allow for further development and could see things improve beyond emulators and game dumping in the future, but would require new vulnerabilities and exploits to be discovered

You have to actively corrupt you OS, I cant remember how but myne did and i had to manually install the OS over a USB, and the OS I installed was one previous from the one I had. Wish I had SS of it but icl at the time i thought my console was bricked because it was throwing all sorts of E_xxx errors. My guess would be to interrupt a OS update because the think that's what happened to me. Ngl it was a while ago so im not 100% of it'd still work or how I'd go about replicating it (especially without potentially bricking my device), either way tho buddies purchases where redundant

The PS5 was already jailbroken, I would bet it happens again on PS5. Xbox runs its games under VMs, that's why it's so hard to jailbreak.

Dump unencrypted content. You can only play emulators for systems that have been hacked. So hopefully this makes it easier for developers to make an Xbox one emulator

@@Theslayer5 It's a game that came out on disc, so any of the xboxes that support discs (One, One S, One X, Series X) should be able to play it without any patches I guess he's saying it should also work to jailbreak when such a jailbreak comes out

@@Atropanda002 I have the app, but had to move the Xbox and despite offlining it and making sure it worked before I moved it I can't now open it. I don't know if onlining the machine with my DNS blackhole and updates blocked router side will let me open it again since I have no experience of what happens if you online to Live with a removed app and I don't want it uninstalled because of it. My network is set up in such a way that I can still get into live without the Xbox freaking out and get store and game updates just not system updates. Part of the problem with never really using Xbox and having it sat in a cupboard after a few months of owning it, until it was announced, Would be nice if there was a way to side load apps as I did back up the app to a USB on the 1X and tried to add it to my account on my mates SX but I can't see the app to transfer. Microsoft's ecosystem is terrible and restrictive as I found out on the 1X and not being able to make an offline account or even get into the system from the OtBE without being online to do so. Playstation was pretty much, power on, make offline account and play nothing else needed. No mandatory update check, no PSN sign-in and can play games update-less from the disc. The only restriction is moving save data as you need the UIDs to match which only happens if you either make a sign-in to PSN once to assign it or you do it those a jailbreak app. Things were much simpler in PS3 and Xbox360 era.
