Bit of a late upload but wanted to discuss xbox live currently being down and also discuss the good news about call of duty being aware of the huge mw3 lag issues on xbox and are working on a fix asap! Big thank you to you all over the last few days as we all worked together to get the issue addressed and acknowledged by activision/sledgehammer and have collectively managed this so lets hope we get a fix very very soon! Edit: xbox live seems to be coming back slowly managed to log in and play mw3 but the xbox lag issue is still in mw3 so we will all have to wait for the mw3 lag issue fix from sledgehammer still

No doubt, been lag on Xbox for too long now. But they have no problem throwing more skins, characters, and weapon upgrades for you to buy. Just complete laziness. I used to work QA for a software game company decades ago and they'd have it corrected within 24 hours.
We deserve compensation on Xbox and modern warfare 3, this is BS because they are a bunch of billionaires that seems like they don't know what they are doing! Like that really giving sht!
In fact, he is the only one who dealt with this topic.. and well done to him, he is one of us who actually cares about the community! the other youtubers of the game just didn't like it, they should probably say something because their steams won't have bot lobbies to get a kill to brag to their friends
Right after the mid-season update last Wednesday I have been experiencing this severe lag and yes, TaxXGold is the only RU-vid creator who has posted a video about it. It has been over one week now (8 days) and we all hope Activison resolves this issue.
For me right now, it’s just I get one or two good matches that don’t lag and then maybe like a half hour in all I get is lag spikes and makes it unplayable. I really think we need compensation 💯
I know I said the same thing with all this going on with the lag in the freezing but guess what every time you login the message of the day what is it a new stupid ridiculous skin they want 2499 for how about you quit putting all this bloated crap in the game then maybe it would run smooth
I tagged them everyday about this issue and also left a video of my lag issues on codupdates as well glad they finally listened to our concerns I been playing apex legends ever since this update because it’s unplayable
I couldn't hardly move I would be trying to slide passed a corner and then I would end up turned around running into a wall or everything like it was studder stepping
Mine is still lagging... I've uninstalled reinstalled the game... I've done a factory reset on my Xbox I've restarted my router... I don't know what to do anymore

i genuinely think they want us to purchase a new xbox every other game on my xbox one works fine, but once i run mw3 40% into a game i start getting lag so bad i cant even play, then once i restart the game its the same cycle.
No problem and yeah it is getting ridiculous now honestly think most should just try and get refunds at this point with how bad it is for some people 😬
Thank you so much for this update on this. I thought that the servers being down for Xbox yesterday was a sign that they were working on the issue, but I tried to play the new game again today and the stuttering was still happening, but I’m at least happy to know that they are aware of the issue and are trying to resolve it.
The pc players that have a field day shooting my face off don't seem to have a lag issue. But if feel you... They should refund people for the time lost. Especially if there are timed challenges. We aren't all streamers that play 24/7...

It's still unplayable have they said when an update will be issued. Its an absolute joke 7 days with lag spike frame rate issues and sound glitching. I really hope we get some double xp as a good will gesture because this has been completely unacceptable. I was gunna get black ops 6 but I think I'm gunna save my money instead
Double XP? Bro, I’ll shit up my back if all they do is toss us a couple hrs of 2XP after this. Idk about you, but personally I work 50+ hours a week. Factor in having children, a spouse, lawn care/other duties etc. I legit choose to get less sleep so I can grind WZ. I played my first ever Ranked Play match with one week left of season 3. Long story short I hit Plat solo queuing and was hooked. I told myself when season 4 dropped, I was going to grind Ranked Rebirth exclusively to challenge myself to get better, and to also see where I stand skill wise. I’m D2, 600SR away from D3 as of the day before S4.5 update went live, and have not been able to get stable enough gameplay to chance the SR hit I’ll take if lag strikes mid-match. That’s just a slap in the face as a consumer and literal lifelong fan of the franchise, to know that in my free time I choose to boot up their game, and spend that time and not to mention MONEY, just for them to casually sit by when their product experiences performance issues that are SO BAD, it makes a match physically unplayable. P.S. Sorry for hitting the most diabolical rant so randomly on your comment lol I’m just so fed up with their overall performance between these baked bean ass servers and their lack of respect towards the player base.

I’m on pc. Literally every single match I get a wave of lag where I literally have to sit there and wait it out. Same for Warzone and zombies. I have fiber optic. Literally every match, packet loss, packet burst and extrapolation. I know a lot of people on pc are getting the same. I think it’s an issue with the servers and not on our side. Some of it may be on our side, but match after match the issue reoccurring has to be on COD side.
Its bad enough that we have to constantly compete with the bs of playing against 250+ frame pc players, Now this shyt? This is why everyone is leaving period.

Its affecting all platforms. Not just XBOX. Me and my friends play MW3 on PC and PS5 and we experience lag/latency/packet issues, even on campaign and zombies. Not just multiplayer. Even other players that use our discord has mentioned that its an issue with them as well, all platforms. We never had these issues before major update. Its a MW3 issue since last update.
I hate to say this, but maybe this is good news. When it started last Wednesday (July 3rd) after the update, only some Xbox users had lag, now if it's all platforms Activision should speed up the process to fix this mess.
You’re gameplay seems like its barely lagging compared to mine. Im on PS5 and i haven’t been able to play since last week. So much lag and i double checked my internet connection. Hope there’s fix for this soon
The gameplay in this video is from before the update 😅. My previous video has season 4 reloaded gameplay and shows what I am experiencing currently and yes let's hope they are working quickly to fix this issue!

I’m on Xbox and the game is unplayable when ever I land the walls are see through and I basically get wall hacks for 10 minutes sounds amazing right? But while this happens my operator is floating around.when this finally stops and I pick up a gun it takes 5 minutes for my gun to load.ever since the reloaded update I have switched to rainbow six siege because I have no lag on that game.
It helps, but you will still get lag, even after closing the game, dashboarding and restarting the game, which is a time consuming process in and of itself, lol.
I don’t understand how Microsoft who purchased the COD franchise kept saying until now that it was a consumer problem not a download issue … hopefully they will fix this issue and possibly the server crashes too … we as consumers paid a lot of money to this franchise they need to be held to a higher standard of service… because as soon as your live subscription is expired it’s expired … only fair to hold these companies accountable for the service they provide !
They’ve had plenty of time to fix this issue. At this point it’s evident it’s the least of their concerns and don’t care to fix it. What an incompetent company, game, and employees
I had hope it was improving until I glitched through some stairs and ran into a few walls. I cant play more than one MAYBE two games before it is a complete mess again.
I've had terrible lag issues since the Season 4 Reloaded update. XBOX One , Ethernet connection to the router, all network checks are ok. Broadband speed is what I have normally always been getting. Each round starts ok but soon it starts to lag terribly, movement, sound, everything so the game becomes unplayable. Other games work fine, it's just COD MW3.
It's definitely on Activision side, not your equipment. According to a tweet that TXG posted here, they are aware of the issue, now we just have to suffer this lag fun until they fix it.
Im still lagging!!! This is mad annoying more than a week! Before this weeks update id lag midway through the game and it was absolutely horrible and would stay like that till i completely backed out of the game now after this update it lags from the start and randomly stops but comes back in every single match!
@TazXGold yeah I tried playing just a few mins ago and my game crashed on me made me lose all of my stuff in zombies. It sucks bro. I hope they get it fixed soon or I'm asking activision for a refund on this game , for real. If I can't play what I paid 70 bucks for I want my money back . Lol
@@DevMfWalker Sounds like you need a self-revive kit, a large rucksack, a durable gas mask, etc... Yeah, the last time I played zombies, it was lagging, and I went to exfil and my game froze, lol, then I check my gear and like you, I lost everything! Woo-hooo!!!
FIXED, DO THIS: Ok, I switch to play "Season 4 MOSH PIT" (next to "Small Map Mosh Pit" and "HEAD Shots Only") and there is NO LAG there. I need tried other SELECTIONS to find out what else DON"T LAG. NOTE: there are TWO "INCLINE 24/7", one top level and one under "Multiplayer" (next to Season 4 Mosh PIT). The latter one, next to "Season 4 Mosh Pit" DOES NOT LAG. Where the top level one, before Multiplayer, DOES LAG. I tested the NO log selection one, with all feature of Graphic/Sound/INterface TURN ON, and run at 4k and ALL GOOD, NO LAG. I have tried "Hard Core Quick Play" and "10v10 MOSH PIT" and "INCLINE 24/7" and serious lag no matter I turn OFF all feature in graphic/shound/interface. SUMMARY: drill down to Multiplacer and find "Season 4 MOSH PIT", all game next to it have NO LAG. Good luck, Hung Ton

So when they gone fix it my latency isn't bad but it's still not playable at the moment I was used to going off now I can't play a single game without lagging and feel like shots ain't registering at all
I was on a hour ago, i played 10 games of rebirth and had ZERO lag. (Old Xbox one) But the last 7 days were terrible and not playable… Maybe they fixed it ?? Or maybe I just got lucky with my connection/servers. But everything was smooth and I had consistent 5 ping. I’ll check back tomorrow to see if everything is good again!
Sadly it’s still happening as of right now. Some of the worst it’s been actually. On Xbox One also. In BR it was completely unplayable & in MP it was stuttering like crazy.
I just played again. I was experiencing no lag at first, for like 3 games then I lagged for a game and a half. After that it was fine for another 5 games then I lagged for 1. So it’s definitely way better than it was before. But it’s not 100%. I would say it’s 75% better (For me)
