Xbox Next! 

My girlfriend just bought me a series X on September 4th for an early birthday present. Until then, I was rocking an Xbox One original. I'm excited there's something new, but I'm ok with waiting an seeing how it turns out.

Not sure I care about a new console from either MS or Sony.

I just bought a PC this week and man it’s awesome, I love how I have my gamepass on it and how it seamlessly works with play anywhere games. I can’t believe I’m saying this because I’ve been on Xbox since the original but with everything coming out lately I decided to slowly transition into PC because I feel like Xbox as a console won’t be a thing in the future and more so a marketplace and it saddens me too think that because I love Xbox but I think PC & Nintendo will stand the test of time. Let’s see how it all works out.

In order to benefit these graphics you need a really good tv to match

I have same problem with my XBox. Run the game, get back me to Homescreen and on second try game loads properly.

Consoles are not cutting edge tech. If you need 60 fps to have fun, then you need a PC.

You'll always want more. When they give you 60fps you will want 120fps. I've always been content with 30fps which is why standard ps5 is good enough for me. I always cared more about graphics and resolution when it comes to console upgrades. My ps4 pro and Xbox one x had to look better than my ps3 and my ps5 had to look better than my ps4 pro and Xbox one x. For me, ps5 delivered.

This console gen was a freaking scam, sony and microsoft marketed 4k-120, when in reality true next-gen games run at native 720p with a target of 60 fps, mid settings lmao it's not even a locked framerate, we have seen it with alan wake 2, avatar, sw outlaws and UE 5 games they even had the nerve to put 8k and 120hz logos, gimme a break 🤣 native 720p, welcome back to 2005

That happened to me where remotes wouldn't connect and could not turn on xbox with remote. Was indeed crazy didn't know if something broke or what 😢😢😢

More interested in the next Switch. They screwed up this generation at MS and Sony because they never had next gen exclusivity. Casuals never needed to upgrade.

My TV is still broken so i can't play Xbox. I have a nice new PC with games on it, but mostly i game on SteamDeck. I don't really miss playing Xbox.

PS5 guy here. Is there a XBOX Pro in the making? PS5 looks like a waste of time to grade to. If there's an Xbox Pro coming that'll be my excuse to get one and spend money cause there's no point in upgrading to PS5 Pro ATM ❤

Everyone was saying the same thing with previous gen. Yall are some console dweebs. 4k path tracing with a.i cores would be absolutely phenomenal. People said the same thing when newspapers came out, cuz they can just talk around town. Look at the future everyone, the possibilities are endless.

I had a simular issue on my series x after playing bo6 for 2 hours, I had to unplug my xbox too. I was wondering if it was using a large amount of cache or something that could overload something to cause this issue.

New generation Xbox needs to be PC steam compatible or I'm sticking to PC

Honestly, I think we have taken graphics as far as they need to go at this point. The next major leap in console tech should enable more realistic character movement, deeper interaction with the game environment, more character choices as well as resulting story branches, npc ai, and enemy ai. Could you imagine? Games like that would blow our minds. So far we have only seen glimpses.

Dude I had that same issue with my console too!!!! I thought I cooked it playing Elden ring lol So I had to hard reset it completely and completely power it off. The Xbox button was flashing and nothing responded. I was in full panic lol Then I powered it back on and it seemed fine after that lol

Maybe Xbox can capitalize with a better pricepoint because ps5 pro will cost 800 euro's... insane!

This is how impactful the Xbox 360 really was coming into HD. Like, honestly, games are marginally better than that particular leap. I do hope the next generation is a larger leap than going to the 360 was because mostly, it's just incremental improvements at best.

It's literally not the console's fault for shitty textures. It's the developers. They're forced to push out a game with underskilled employees and then they make a game like call of duty where everything is just hazy and bland. It's a fact. That game could be beautiful. It could look really really good but instead they take the lazy and cheap approach and give us the shitty textures and haziness to finish a game real quick so they can make money. It's simply greed. The Xbox series X is a great console. It would still be good 5 years from now. We need to be holding Activision and companies like that accountable

If I remember correctly the human eye can only perceive something like 78 FPS or some odd number between 60-100 FPS so I don't see why everyone is so fixated on 120+ FPS

Just a heads up people..BUT graphics will only improve just so much. If people dont like what they are seeing this gen i dont know what to say. lol..Every gen is less and less because we can only go so far.

I think I’m done with these systems. I hate the lack of physical copies and having to install the stupid game. I’m sick of remakes and sequels. I’m sick of games being released buggy and incomplete but they want me to pay $70. I’ll just start playing all the older stuff.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Nothing would start and my controllers didn’t work. I also unplugged and everything was good

Ray, do you have Automatic Update when the XBox is not powered on? "Something similar": A few months ago, right around the time the Xbox360 Store was shut down, I powered on my XBox One and the Update Screen came on, so I let it update. Next thing I knew, after the reboot, the Controller would not allow me to remote power up the console. Basically it un-registered the Controller. I had to use a controller cable and do a hard reset. It had installed the Update but turned off the Controller. When I inserted the Controller Cable it vibrated, but then I couldn't turn off the console via the Controller power button. But, if I then removed the cable it worked. Hmmm. I was then able to register the controller. To-day I decided to update the console. (I have Auto Update Disabled.) I changed the HDMI input while it updated and when I looked at the Console it was flashing the power light. I let it power off by itself, connected the Controller cable, powered up the console, re-did the Update and it didn't de-register the controller, but I made sure that Profile 1 was still set up as I had set it previously. With the cable removed the Controller works as it should. I was hoping that this Update would fix my "Loading XBox 360 Profile" problem. It did not. The "Loading XBox 360 Profile" problem has been going on for years; Google it. I give up; I give up on XBox.

I have experienced this with the Xbox x I’m referring to ur Xbox controller non response glitch u talked around 11:00-12:00 in the video but I wasn’t playing black ops 6 I was updating games like Fortnite, new genesis, valorsnt, palworld, and sea or thieves. My controller was disconnected I had to hold down the button on the console to force a shut down it stopped updating as well and it wouldn’t pause the update or cancel them I was stuck on Home Screen and options and then I rebooted it only to find the same thing happen so I forced a shut down again and unplugged like u then rebooted and reconnected my controller and it was fine this isn’t my first experience with this either it’s come from the Xbox one back then my Xbox would go full on black screen everytime there was an update since the release of the Xbox x which is why I upgraded on the Xbox one I would have to do a full factory reset to get it to come back on if there was a system update or for some reason it just decided to do that. A friend experienced this same thing on the series s I refurbished his console found nothing wrong cleaned it up factory reset it and it worked just fine and turned back on but his series s had another problem I had to double factory reset it because the WiFi wouldn’t pick ip a signal at all but it would connect with the Ethernet port. I think the fault relying in the coding of Xbox/Microsoft if you ever find the answer to this feel free to tag me 🙏

With Microsoft pushing Recall without opt-out I've decided to delete my microsoft accounts and cease to buy any more products from them. Not like xbox ever has any worthwhile exclusives that don't go to PC.

I hope they continue with hardware but the noises coming out of MS recently aren’t filling me with optimism. I really feel as though their future strategy is going to revolve solely around game pass. I get that MS is doing just fine financially but questions around the viability of selling hardware at a loss will inevitably be asked when game pass is available on so many other platforms. Why would a casual gamer who plays every once in a while spend hundreds on a console when they could just buy a controller for a fraction of the cost and stream games through GP on an Amazon fire stick? Sales through the Xbox store are great but if they find a way to integrate that into GP it’s over lmao

Developers are just lazy. any game can run 60 FPS on consoles any game on the current consoles even the previous generation. it’s just that they are all too lazy. I mean you can use stuff like dynamic resolution when stuff get hectic you can just lower the resolution to maintain 60 FPS why don’t they use that I mean why do you want clarity when stuff happens so fast clarity isn’t needed smoothness is sweeter.

Not buying destiny/bungee is wild! they could've reignited the halo franchise in a big way! and the teams could've supported each other! oh well. destiny is doing decent while poor Halo at least with the story rn its fucked i hope they get it right next time if they don't just give up on it but the multiplayer is decent tho although i wish they would've focused more on the story instead of giving us the short mess they gave us

From what I understand ppl can play console games on their phone now. I was talking with someone online who said he plays Starfield on his phone. I had to ask again just to make sure I understood correctly. I had no clue that was an option now. Of course you have to have the most recent high dollar phone from what I understand, but its definitely a thing now.

Age of mythology I played in my youth, it is a great game, and wait did you say age of mythology 2? Ohhh I hope they make a console version of the second one! But seriously any new dlc is epic as well if you get the upgrade. I definitely wanna get it.

Just let destiny die people it’s a endless workhorse game and no equipment is ever good enough and if it is it’s only good for a few months until they update the game. Basically it’s a part time job if you wanna keep up with the best armor mods and equipment. Countless hours trying to obtain one gun and by the time you get it there is a better gun coming up.

Series X got so many issues and glitches until I sold mine. These consoles are overhyped in my opinion. I’m steering clear of this console wars and hype because they are not living up to it.

Microsoft has clearly outlined console names starting with the Xbox one s and Xbox one X then came the series s and x. Continuing the XS format. Unless they setup that for no reason the next consoles should be called series s3 and x 3

This is why I don't buy new consoles, they come out with new ones every 3 years or so basically. I still have old version and works fine.
