Hi, this video shows you the 2 ways you can connect the first and also additional controllers on the Xbox One X console. You can do it wirelessly or wired. Many thanks Vince
Thank you! Everybody else keeps posting how to connect only one controller. Few need help synching one controller, or even two. But three or more needs explanation. So thank you!!!!
Oh my days I love you, my first controller broke and I haven’t been able to use my other controller but you saved my life it’s now since and I can play, thank you sooooo much
Very helpful. Short and straight to the point. Also, the buttons are hard to notice so thank you for clarifying. Now me and my brother can play together!
Omfg thank you so much for this, my sync button is stuck inside the Xbox console I’ve been trying to sync my new controller for hours then I came across this for the cable and it helped me
Great and simple video. I've been struggling how to get my 2nd controller working. I'm nearly 50 so it's probably just because I'm an old sod that I couldn't figure this simple process out lol 🤣
Hi quick question I’m looking at buying a wired controller do I have to connect it to the Xbox USB port for the power or can I give power to it thro my laptop USB port?
Hi Vince, one question, i have an xbox one S with 2 controllers, and nex week i'll be getting my new xbox one x , and i'll be putting it right next my one S, what will happen when i turn on my new controller from the X , next to the S? and the other 2 controllers? thanks!
wait yo do i need a USB cord to turn on an older controller because i have an older controller im tryna use for splint screen but it wont even turn on and i put batteries and everything in it
I just bought my son a new controller for is Xbox one and I almost returned it cause I couldn’t figure out how to sync it🤦🏾♀️😂 thanks so much this was helpful
Great. Question please, if you want to play a coop/splitscreen game, can you use 2 wireless controllers - and is the first one synced player 1 then? Thanks!
Thanks. Yes 2 controllers can be connected wirelessly, in fact 8 controllers will work wirelessly. So if the game has split screen then 2 or more wireless controller will be fine :-)
Thanks, appreciate reply Vince. You did mention upto 8 on video but wasn't sure that was concurrent connections ie. If you moved one controller left & one right at same time whether it would recognise both commands (or recognise first connection as a master/controller no. 1). Excellent, will buy a second controller tomorrow then. Seen one for £35 second hand 👍Loved the Tin Can Alley video BTW 😉
@@BigDxxxx1 Hi, I believe there is no difference between the controllers. I personally have never noticed a difference between player 1 or player 2 or 3 when playing games. Cheers for the comment on the Tin can Alley, that is a great game :-)
How do you know which controller is player one, player two' player three etc, etc ? On 8 BitDo controller they have 4 small LEDs on top of the controller which indicate which player number the controller is assigned, The XBox One and series X controller don't have this but the XBox 360 would light up one of the four sections of the Xbox Logo to indicate which player number the controller was assigned 2 and I think Playstation Controllers after the PS3 used the color of the LED light on the controller to indicate what player number it's assigned to while the PS2 used the for LEDs at the top of the controller. The Wiimote uses the 4 LED method also.
I got an Xbox one and it came with a controller but my brother wants to play with me but I have an Xbox 360 controller I think even though it doesn’t say it on the back can I still connect to my Xbox one?
