That Xbox showcase was truly brilliant. I enjoyed watching reaction streams to the event, since nearly all of them were positive. Nice to see the gaming community positive about something for once. Game Pass has already been one of the best deals in gaming but to see how much new content it will get in the next year is amazing.
It's funny to see Playstation Twitter slowly trying to nitpick & complain about the Xbox Showcase. They were honest about how good it was at first, but I guess you can't ever fully take the pettiness out of fanboys. Screen shots of Indiana Jones face looking different & saying it looks "drastically worse," focusing in on a single screen shot of Joanna Dark's jaw (despite it looking just like the model), saying Gears was just CG, saying the show is "ruined" because Phil talked about multiplat, etc etc.... Hell, I even saw a meme floating around saying Xbox is just as "slimy" as Sony due to paying for 3rd party exclusivity with Rise of the Tomb Raider... from nearly a *DECADE AGO* as their 1 example! 😂 Yes, that's totally comparable to the many, many AAA 3rd party games Sony has paid to keep of Xbox (and even PC) every single year... Anyway, it was a great show, no matter how much fanboys desperately try to spin the narrative.
@@blickedxb very true, and I will keep that same energy when Sony finally shows their stuff for the second half of the gen, but we’ve also had great games like Horizon, Ratchet, Returnal, Spiderman 2, Demon Souls. All quality games. What quality games has MS released that give you confidence that what was shown is what you’ll get??
I'm a gamer, like all of you. I own the big 3 systems like many of you. I'll never understand worshipping a piece of plastic. It's fine if we prefer one company over another, but to trash one system over the other is idiotic.
It might be for some, for a long time I was loyal to one or other console brand, started out with Nintendo, got a ps1 and then ps2, gears made me move to the 360 and I've been on Xbox ever since, now I own both the series X and PS5 and while I prefer Xbox and only use ps5 for certain exclusives, I know each console has it's own pro's and cons and if you have the possibility to enjoy both, that's great, if not still shouldn't sh*t on other people's choice of entertainment, I never understood the whole console war thing EVER, we're all gamers here... Absolutely. Xbox has been a disappointment for the most part for a while, and it's nice to see all of these acquisitions finally show some value. Makes me not regret buying one so much now, and I get to play games that AREN'T from the 360 era.

@@kingkobrasgaming1241 it’s too quick cut, like they’re trying to hide something. I prefer gameplay demos where they show off like an entire mission or something, much better than quick cuts of gameplay. Those quick cut versions are fine if we’ve already seen a gameplay demo and they’re hyping it up right before release but otherwise we need more.
It will at least be cross-gen with the next consoles, I think. I think cross gen periods are going to get even longer, now that handhelds are a thing. Not a bad thing for there to be more cross gen, in my opinion. Not every game actually needs new hardware (just look at PC)

Xbox shows that they've been cooking and it just shows people don't have much patience when it comes to game development Microsoft has obviously been in full development of these games and obviously you have to let it cook and reap the rewards of Great games and obviously I am absolutely looking forward to Xbox's future. People keep saying that Xbox is dead I call it fake news because gaming media is obviously lying to us and so are Sony Fanboys running with it which obviously shows Xbox silence its critics and haters and this is exactly why Xbox definitely saved gaming for everybody.😊

How can Gears of War E-DAY be 2-3 years away? They released Gears 5 in 2019 and Hivebusters in 2020. They released a remaster and Gears 4,5 and Hivebusters in a 6 year period. Theyve had 4 years already with E-DAY.
Choice in camara angle - that's exactly the smart sort of decision making I would expect of developers with wisdom... *Cough* Capcom *cough* Resident *cough* Evil.
Regarding Gears of War, by the third game, I was kind of feeling burnt out on them,so much so, it was a decade later before I played GOW 4, I've still yet to play GOW 5. My personal favourite is the first GOW. I initially completed it solo on Hardcore setting and further played through it on hardcore co op and Insane co op. For me personally it had the biggest impact, the graphics were fantastic for that time period and the reloading was pretty unique at that time. My personal favorites of the event were Life is Strange Double Exposure followed by Dragon Age Veilguard, Expedition 33 and Perfect Dark. It is the best showcase I've seen in a while. I am hoping that these games will be available as physical releases's and not on sale only as deluxe or collectors editions, that's my only reservation about the show.
I'm so happy to see Gears of War coming back to what I used to be. Maybe much better. I hope that they don't remastered the OG Trilogy. Better catch up starting from E-Day
This showcase gave me hope but I’m still cautiously optimistic. The trailers they showed off looked fantastic! However, I thought the trailers for Starfield and hellblade 2 looked amazing and both of those games fell short for me. I’m hoping this is finally going to be the year for Xbox to shine. Now is the time with Sony having a drought year (although I have enjoyed their second party exclusives this year). Xbox has a chance to really make a new charge forward so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
@@kevinlist3330 yes. Its probably too late for Fable since its set to release next year, but a Gears and Perfect Dark are years away. Not to mention there's already rumors about gears 1-3 being remade.

no... stop reading outrage farm headlines and actually try to look things up before you start complaining. Blops6 is part of "Call of Duty HQ" which combines MW2/3, warzone, DMC, and black ops 6 and only when everything is installed will it be over 300GB.
@@Velocifero it’s not outrage farming because MW2019 was that size at one point with all the Warzone content. The 300GB figure was posted on Xbox Store and people thought it was true.
I'll be skipping the turn-based combat game. Not my cup of tea. But that is an impressive look for just a 30-person team. They should be pleased with their work so far. But I am *GLAD* that the newest Final Fantasy games aren't held back by the turn-based combat. It's a godsend for me, because I have always wanted to be able to play Final Fantasy games. And now that they aren't turn-based, I can. So... that move made me happy and able to participate in the franchise. Which I appreciate. 👍🏾
Are you guys really confident that what was shown Sunday is what we will get when they finally release? MS still has the stick the landing and show us they can deliver. “In-game assets” don’t mean anything if the final game isn’t as advertised or good when it releases
Dude Hellblade 2, Forza Horizon 5, Motorsport, Starfield is what we get from trailers..especially Hellblade 2..oh Man to be honest, all games on Xbox Showcase cant beat Hellblade 2 graphics, except GOW EDay (i hope is equal or more awesome than HB2 graphics)
Unpopular opinion: Gears of War E-Day feels like a middle finger to the Gears fanbase... Seriously? A f-ing prequel? Hear me out: With E-Day being the next full Gears game, there could be a ten-year gap between the releases of Gears 5 and 6! Wouldn't E-Day have been better suited as a major DLC for Gears 5? It could have showcased the improved visuals and mechanics and even concluded with gameplay that transitioned players into the Gears 6 storyline. Don't get me wrong. I'll be playing it on day one... but under protest.
Even as a longtime Xbox supporter. I have 2 original Xbox’s including Halo edition, 5 360’s including Starwars connect bundle 2 Xbox ones and 2 Series X consoles including the Halo edition but I just don’t get why people get so excited about games that are up to 18 months or years away and probably won’t come out until the next generation of Xbox consoles in 2026 or later. Maybe I am just getting too old for gaming but what happened to the shadow drop of Gears collection all these RU-vidrs were banging on about? That really would have been a showstopper. As it is only Perfect Dark looks to be next Gen looking and Avowed looks embarrassingly bad even compared to Outer Worlds. The Doom reveal just looks like DLC for Doom eternal. I am still having much more fun collecting and playing games for original Xbox and 360.

E-Day seems like a great course correction from the Disney Star Wars slop that was Gears 4 and 5. Give me some gameplay and a release date and I’m on board. Perfect Dark is kinda ehhh for me. I haven’t played the original games but i can’t stand these Western devs making characters who were previously attractive unattractive. Why does Joanna have to have a fat jaw? Like just make her a high-res version of the original character. But the gameplay they showed off is interesting, just need a timeframe before I start getting excited.

Those new Xbox games definitrly looked amazing, but that Gears trailer is all in brown colors. I really didn't like it. I'm sure it will look amazing on the next Xbox when it comes out, but this didn't look good in my opinion

idk i thought it was a 5 out 10 ,problem for me was too many SBI games and Fable main character is still hideous and even Joanna dark looks like crap too but other then that the game looked good. Dragons Age didn't even looked like Dragon Age, just garbage
