Personally, yes Kinect 2.0 bombed, however, that is by and large, because MS dropped it to make the Xbox One cheaper, however, I absolutely loved 'Kinect Adventures' and 'Dance Central' and we couldn't have had those without Kinect On another note, I am so absolutely pumped for Alan Wake Remastered!!

Really hope Avowed has a third-person option. If you can customize your character with different armor sets and weapons, why would you limit it to first-person only where I can't see my character?

Starfield is 3rd person as well as 1st person. Fable definitely will be, just like Hellblade 2. We still don't know about Perfect Dark but I'm sure they'll have that option (even though the originals didn't, because it's a reboot). People are way too dramatic in saying "Xbox only has first person games" or "Xbox doesn't have single player games" and it's annoying.

If you are going to digitally read then use a tablet. As soon as books became digital, I bought into them and read on my Galaxy S5. I even spray book scent air freshener on it to get that authentic experience.

I agree with open world games. I have had fatigue with that genre for years now. When I see a huge map with a smattering of icons I cringe and just do the story and ignore collectables. However I think Halo is one of the only games that can be open world because the Halo rings are all one area.

I want to read A Wheel of Time but the thought of embarking on reading another loooong fantasy series sounds exhausting. Goodkinds Sword of Truth series was my last. Does the quality of WOT remain consistent across all books?

While I obviously don't know for sure, I expect that the 100M deal for Tomb Raider is overblown. I expect it included things like co-marketing deals, technical assistance on a new console, and things like prominent ads all over the place. They probably still did overpay. But it wasn't an unreasonable bet at the beginning of a gen and to face off against uncharted with a very good game following up on a very good reboot. If it were 100M JUST for exclusivity, then that's insane. But if it includes the totality of everything Microsoft and Square did together related to that title, it actually sounds fine.

The thing with the radar is it’s such a big difference. Because sprint is only a 9% speed increase. So you mostly get a disadvantage for sprinting. When you can walk around the map with a power weapon like grav hammer or sword at practically the same pace as someone sprinting and not be on radar is pretty broken. Yes you can always go back and play old halo but the radar has always remained the same from halo CE to halo 5. It’s not something that should be changed imo. Everything else. Movement, gunplay, equipment. Jump height. Sliding. All of those things are stuff that should evolve. Plus saying people can go back and play old halo… people that hard core of halo fans want to play the new halo hahah and people to do it competitively. Idk we’ll see if anyone who liked they way radar was in the flight flight even really notices the change back to how it was in previous halos. And if they speak up. I think it doesn’t bother everyone who didn’t complain because they don’t use it that much. Just my take on it.

The problem with ADS is it uselessly wastes a primary action button, I still wish ADS wasn't a thing in any shooter.

To be honest, I could read between the lines with PS and that's one of the reasons why Xbox became my favorite platform, even when some of my favorite games came from there like MGS, FF, etc.

Read the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, I read it after the wheel of time and the sword of truth. Hands down the greatest fantasy series of all time. I'd be willing to buy you the first one to get you to read it.

Whenever you got the games you get away with stuff. 360 had the games so they "got away" with RROD. Nice to see Remedy doing better since they went multiplat hopefully that means Alan Wake 2. Hope Moon Studios can find similar success selling their games more places too.

I find it interesting that Rand is so anti kinect but yet wants hardcore Halo fans to let the game evolve. I loved the kinect I kept my Xbox One purely because I couldn't use the Kinect on the XSX.

I see this price increase for next gen only games will only help Gamepass grow more. People are going to think about $70 for each released exclusive to Xbox or a $15 subscription and download these games as part of the service. Next year exclusive gmes are going to start rolling in every quarter and that's not counting the other 3rd party games that make a deal with Microsoft to get their game on Gamepass day and date. That's if Xbox ever decides to increase these games to $70. They may never do that if there are enough subs to their service.

We want Halo to evolve, just not into Call of Duty, that is entirely why Halo 4/5 got all the pushback. Make Halo more like Battlefield 1942, and yes I am quite open to Battle Royale and I'm surprised they haven't announced it yet. Halo should make one of the best Battle Royale games ever.

Especially view points they dont agree with...its lazy and low effort.. this line "the hardcore halo fans don't want halo to evolve" its just so low effort ...theres no attempt to understand what hardcore halo fans want.. I'm not a hardcore halo fan but ill can spell it out for you..Hardcore halo fans want halo to evolve..but they don't want halo to change in ways that break halo and make the game not be halo... sprint was one thing that did this...sprint in halo 5 meant the entire game of halo had to be built around sprint..maps had to be made bigger,some vehicles had to be change etc...after all the changes where done halo felt more like COD than halo... 343 recognize this and lowered the boost sprint gives to a 9%boost ..so now you can sprint but the game doesn't have to be bulit around it ..so you can have a halo game that feels more halo and retains the things halo fans love about halo..more strategic gameplay, map control etc... and the hardcore halo fans love the equipment evolution 343 has done with infinite .because thats the right way to evolve halo and still have it feel halo. hopefully that explains it so you stop saying silly things like "hardcore halo fans don't want halo to evolve"...if that was the case hardcore halo fans would just be playing halo 3 and not be hyped for a new halo game.
