He took such good care of Han and she rode very well too! The fact that Cam gave you the option to go on the right instead and you persevered to say no I want to make him listen on the left, in spite of the nerves and everything you were already feeling in the session, is a true testament to you and the effort you’ve put in to improve and your mental strength! Well done Tina! 😊
Oh my gosh Cameron is the bomb and a great confidence boost for Han. Banksy is just the best . It’s great to see some newbies , we all have to start somewhere . 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I know you felt a little defeated after this ride, but I have to say as a viewer I think you were brillant and showed some of the best adjustability. Thank you for sharing and can’t wait to see you and Banks at the next event!
❤ Bless you for giving Hannah a front seat, she will remember this moment forever, Hannah is a beautiful soft rider and an amazing hands on supporter, Hugs to all
Loved Cameron helping Hannah, she did fab and needs to join you guys on the next series. You did a great job with Banksy 🐴 can't wait to watch the H&C swipe up and kick on season 3 now. 💜
Speaking as a rider who was slightly less experienced than my BFF's riding, I know how good it is to have someone trust you enough to ride their horse, never mind in front of an instructor! She'll never forget that, ever. And you handling the brakes when mister decides he's fit enough for more, mom!! Well done. Six hours drive is heeeeell on wheels, even without having a horse trailered with you! I hope you use some epsom salts with your daily scrub to ease out those nasty toxins... great journey!
Just started watching and Han did so well, she is so much better than she thinks - lovely soft hands.....and this really makes me want a Cameron lesson! 😊 Thanks for another super vlog Tina x
Brilliant video! I loved how Cam said ‘force your brain to think about those things and you might forget about what else is going on’ (or something similiar!) I think that is something that would help a lot of riders including me!
Tina, you were stellar at recouping your mental state to ride the horse you had for the XC exercises. I battle my own brain as well and it’s so hard to overcome those feelings. Banks looked so excited to be out though! I’m thankful he’s recovered from the issues he’d endured enough to give you all that effort (and some sass thrown in). Thank you again for posting these videos. It truly does make those of us who have anxiety feel as though it can be done. Happy you and Sir Banksy made it there and back safely as well! Much love from the US. ❤
Aww Hannah is so sweet, well done to her for pushing herself! (And you for the pony loan!) And how kind of Cameron to come & give her some guidance& confidence. Lovely to see ☺️.
That feeling of a fresh, excited horse when you're out in a field with jumps, is not pleasant! Well done on not having a melt down - I totally would have been screaming!!! 😱😱😱 And well done to Han for riding Banksy so well!
Hannah did a great job riding Banksy. He truly is a gent. Like Cameron said, he had great trust in Banksy and knew Hannah would be looked after. Cross Country was good and I hope you enjoyed it. Even though he was a pocket rocket but loving what he likes to do best 💙 Cameron was fair but tough with you and Em. You and Banksy were amazing as always. You both must have been so tired when you eventually got home ❤️
You and Banksy make such a great team. Well done on a tough session. And ❤ for letting Hannah have a ride. She did so well under the beady eyes of all of you as well as the boys, and the camera crew. Fab vlog as ever x
I love Banksy. The fact that even after all his time off and not going XC in 10months, he's still keen and loving what he does. Also, the fact that Han could get on and despite her nerves, she rode him so well. What an absolute credit he is to you and all the work youve done with him over the years and continue to do. He's mega and so are you.
Another great blog really enjoyed and hannah done amazing for her first time on banky. And you both done a great job on cross country just shows banky is back to his old self want gallop around and have fun
Fantastic vlog. So lovely to see Hannah riding - she did really well🎉 Crumbs Tina, Banksy was on fire in the cross-country 🔥 You did so well, bless you. You could almost see Banksy was thinking "let me at them". He just loves his job & looked so happy to be back out jumping🤗 What a fabulous welcome home by your dear hubby❤
Awww Tina what a lovely thing you did for Han she did brilliant on Banksy and wow he's feeling and looking ready for an event we'll ridden he looked very strong I just so love your boy ❤❤❤❤❤
Really kind of you to let Han have a go. I felt for you going round that course. It's horrible feeling like you aren't being listened to so well done! And then that epic journey home, wow!
Tina this was a super vlog, Banksy is amazing he’s loves his job and the way he was with sweet Hannah was so lovely to watch. He was a true gentleman with her and she rode him very well that must have boosted her confidence. Cameron is as always a super teacher training you and is making you a better rider each time. 6 hrs drive home wow you looked exhausted sleep well be proud and confident it suits you.tfs😎🏇😎
Well done Tina!! Both for being such a supportive friend to Han and for pushing thorugh that XC-school! I know how difficult it is when your horse all of a sudden turns in to a speed demon xD
Tina, Banksy is such a gentleman. Absolutely loved watching Hans ride him. He was so gentle and considerate. You can be very proud of him! Cameron is just so amazing. I would love to watch him teach Hans lessons to overcome her fear. She did so very well and had such lovely hands. The one... one... in the middle... was just excellent. Focusing on the numbers really does take your brain away from all the fear that floods your thoughts as you ride. Please ask Cameron if he would give a lesson to fearful riders who are afraid to move forward. That will be so beneficial to some of us in other countries.
I love this. Banksy can be so hot! But it's just because he loves it so much. You really have been amazing the whole time and Banksy has been amazing too. Something about riding down that bank after the skinny gives me the willies!! You were there then gone! When you two nail it, it is nailed! Thanks for sharing.
Tina, I love watching you and Banksy. I loved listening to how positive and encouraging you were with Han. You're a much better rider than you give yourself credit for. You're totally gutsy and I'm full of admiration for you - you continue even when you're nervous and that's the very definition of brave! X
I was watching one of Em’s vids about swipe up and kick on and this came through straight away and I pressed as quick as I could! So excited for this!!!
We ALL know what it is like to feel nerves riding. But that's what you have instructors there for! Cam was great telling you to just relax and let go. You are on a horse that, while spooky, I don't think I've ever seen give you a nasty stop. He's so honest. And I get wanting to protect him from injury, but the horses that are the soundest are always the ones that are just allowed to be horses! Stop thinking the worst will happen and just enjoy!
Well done for sticking at it and working with your nerves! It can be so hard when they’re being overly enthusiastic! My horse Fergus is a year older than Banksy and he gets pretty much exactly the same on grass 😂
Fun fun fun. Banksy such a gentleman for Hannah. XC🔥🔥🔥 it’s been a moment since he’s been able to play XC… keen bean LOVING every stride. You rode well Tina especially up the mound over the skinny. Definitely needed to remove skinny to get his attention… when they act like teenagers and think they KNOW what’s happening. Long drive home but what a lovely welcoming crew. 👏👏🧡
Great video Tina. You did great. It's been a while since you did xc, so don't worry, you know Banksy is a good boy and will always take care of you. You did great!
Such a shame I missed you all 10 months ago, your now in my classroom on the equine RMF level 1, course I did at Solihull riding club for 6 weeks. Also had my horse there and passed with flying colours. A great course to do, now on to level 2 at Solihull college.
Super video, looks like you all had a great time at camp and well done you for persevering on xc, Banks was super keen but it’s a fine line between fun and scary! Easier said than done to let go in those situations🙈😅🤩
Amazing vlog. It was nice to see the BTS Han stuff, felt more like a good old-fashioned vlog & not an advert for H&C like everyone's vlogs from this year have been feeling.
Someone tell Hannah to have more faith in herself, she's a lovely quiet rider and she did ace with Banks! He was certainly a keen boy in the xc and didn't give you an easy time so well done you. Xx
