This was a hard one for me because I was pushed and found it quite uncomfortable to change how I rode but I want to be as real as possible on my socials for you guys so I am still putting the Vlog out.
If you ever get the opportunity for a lesson with Lucinda, I would definitely recommend it!
Thank you for watching! x

Mav gets funny with any back boots that come up far, when ever he gets his cross country boots on he walks so funny at first! x

What a tough lesson! I know you didn't feel it was perfect but honestly you guys took that on so well and did brilliant. I really, really enjoy your vlogs; you are always so honest about what went well and what didn't go so well and I feel like they're so interesting to watch and we learn something from you too. Xx

Hi new girl here isn’t Lucinda fabulous I watched when she evented etc back in the day I’m in the elder spectrum 😄😄😄, but rode for many years when I was young and fit enjoyed every single bit of my horsey days too. Your lesson was extremely tiring your horse is beautiful and you ride very well. You will always get your monies worth with a lesson from one of the best. I look forward to watching more of your journey and you are such a sweet young lady.tfs😎🏇😎

It amazes me how Lucinda gets around the world. She holds lessons here in Western Australia and then is in the UK and all over the world. Her clinics always seem to fill up very quickly. I wish I was at your stage to be good enough to go in one of her lessons. Well done you and Maggie looked great. What a lovely horse Maggie is.

It’s crazy isn’t it! And she was out all day wondering around the XC course in the freezing wind - it must be exhausting. Thank you I’m so lucky to have Miss Maggie 💙

This video was so brilliant to watch. I was in awe at how technical all those lines are, but also it was so heartening because it looked like you were training and learning and it wasn’t all perfect and that’s how I am xc schooling… but I feel the pressure for it to be pretty and perfect when it isn’t is it? So interesting to hear your thoughts in th voiceover too! I’m new to your channel and I really enjoyed this, can’t wait to watch more! Xx

Yes I’m exactly the same as you and still working on accepting that it can’t always be perfect but instead it needs to be functional! Thank you so much 💚

That looked so technical! So much coming at you both! It is always exhausting to make changes with riding, but looked much better than I imagine it felt. What a lovely mare and you rode the excercises beautifully. I am sure you will go out next time even more confident with a new set of skills to use when you need them. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Good for you! both you & Maggie looked fantastic!! My trainer is very detailed as well. Sometimes I feel like "I'll never get all of this," but after a day or two my brain fully absorbs the information & I'm able to do better the next lesson. Keep at it!

Well done Maggie and Evie, noticed you kept your secret weapon Donut in your back pocket, not sure even Lucinda Green is ready for the boy yet 😂🤣😂

@ELSEventing Год назад
Haha I don’t think I’m ready to contain Donut’s exuberance as much as Lucinda would want me to yet! 🙈

Does having studs in the horses shoes make a difference when doing cross country
@ELSEventing
@ELSEventing Год назад
Yes, when eventing I will have stud holes in so I can screw different size / shape studs in depending on the conditions. This just helps to prevent us slipping. They’re not essential - particularly on such good ground. But I would usually plan to have the holes there so I’ve got the option to use studs if the going is slippy x
