Xcelerator is back open at Knott’s Berry Farm after a long closure! The ride has been closed for over a year and coaster enthusiasts including myself couldn’t be more excited for its grand reopening. In addition I also take a look at all the other updates around Knott’s Berry Farm.

Now that Xcelerator is open, everyone is going to start talking about Montezooma. I have never been a fan of Xcelerator but I'm happy it's open.

Xcelerator is what takes Knotts from a great park to an amazing park. It is the perfect cherry on top of Knott's coaster collection. Glad to see it running again

Love and appreciate your Knott’s content. Hoping the merge makes a difference in bringing Montezooma’s back. Getting all the rides open will definitely help with the lines.

I'm glad to see it's back up and running, it's one of my favorites, pure nostalgia for a time when I hadn't been on many coasters and everything was new 🥰. Love how much you guys love it. Maybe someday I'll work up the courage for sidewinder (motion sick 🤢) and I can say I've done all of Knott's coasters 😅

It’s a total loony tunes moment. Your being launched from a gigantic elastic band. I LOOOOOVE it. It sets the tone for the entire coaster. In that moment you’re like WOAH OKAAAAAAY!!!

My friend has the best on ride video from years ago... shes....a blessed gal. The first couple seconds are complete terror of the launch then the rest is the terror of trying to keep the girls in her top.

@ThemeParkObsessionDD It was entirely different than I had expected. Good, but not as good as I had hoped. Front if you want to keep your brain from being rattled to oblivion. But all that aside, it's a good time. Glad to have experienced it. For me, the real star was El Toro 🤘

Yes! Tried to get a night ride tonight, but in typical Intamin fashion it broke down. Still love Intamin and they are still my favorite manufacturer, though

I got a Knotts annual pass last month (October) and since I work nights... I was never awake early enough to go before they closed for their Halloween stuff. LOL Glad to see all the Holiday decorations. I'm definitely going to go see that.

My boyfriend and I went to Knott's Merry Farm for New Year's and we loved it. I don't know if you've seen the movie Top Gun but they had Berlin who sings the song Take My Breath Away in person. It was great 👍

The first time i went to knotts was in July 2022 and i had no idea Xcelerator was gonna be shut down for that long but im glad it reopened this year because next year my pass would expire and i really wanted to ride this ride but im a little sad because i probably wont be able to ride monta zoomas revenge. I’ll probably ride this ride for my first time later this month 😁😁

I would say goodbye to Monte, it would be sad but I think it’s the most logical at this point in its current state.

I never went on top thrill but I have heard from other enthusiasts that this one is a tad more intense because of the short launch track.

Honestly, I'm surprised it's still cable launched after the serious injury that occurred in 2009 when the cable broke

I think because of the small footprint they have no choice but to keep it cable.
