Beautiful and magnificent….these Chanel haute couture pieces are indeed works of art and so captivating…a tapestry of flowers exquisitely assembled and constructed by the ateliers…in swathes of sparkling beads …. glistening like rain drops in the sunlight in movement….the gorgeous tapestry carries through to the classic tweeds… and sublime embroidery …and I love the hair artistry …the black ribbon bows add an elegant sophisticated, rich and decadent appeal…so desirable and so coveted…I loved watching this show…thanks Loic and team 😘

I loved this video and loved seeing the pieces. Exquisite! Virginie is the best. Everything she designs seems to be wearable. Not a repeat of tweed after tweed patterning. My favourite is the beautiful jacket that has multi coloured flower and looks like they are reflected in water in a moonlit sky and beaded trim around the hemming and pockets. Beautiful colours, design, fabric and embellishments used. Fantastic video Loic!

This Chanel documentary brought back memories of my childhood and my holiday trip to Europe. I remembered sewing my first veil when I appliqued delicate lace flowers on tulle, guided by Belgian nun missionaries. Before the pandemic, I collected delicate beaded flowers flown in from China. I wanted to recycle my delicate jusi embroidered dress I wore at my daughter's baptism. When I travelled to Europe, I wore stilettos on the cobbled streets --- so much pain endured for good photos! It really shows the intricacies, artistry, and intense attention to detail that’s required from any maison showing haute couture. May the collection be beautiful, and it definitely is a very beautiful collection of Haute Couture. What makes it special, is this documentation on how precious it is; you explained it beautifully, Loic, thank you! Well, last but not least about the colour "celadon": there is a form of early Chinese ceramics shortly before the chinese porcelain has been invented; in German, it is called "Seladon-Keramik". It has almost the same colour as the ensemble in celadon. Bisous d'Hambourg, Allemagne.
