If you think about it, a xcom like game set in the doom 2016 universe would work so well, you have the environments and enemies and you can have the arc mobile command ship as you HQ.
There already is an XCOM like game for DOOM, tho its not a video game, its a boardgame I know it sounds boring but it's literally XCOM, but it plays more like Chimera Squad with enemie's and player's turns being mixed into eachother, if you have the time to play it by yourself or someone else to play it with it's a good buy, and the miniatures are super detailed and look really cool like in a display area

Worse: the mod that adds him to the game indicates that *ADVENT brought him here.* Experimenting with interdimensional portals or something. Then he escaped and scavenged together an arsenal, started killing ADVENT by the boatload... and THEN you come along to find him in the mission where you recruit him.
@@kreecommando9147 He recently released new videos of it. My guess though is that he is having a private twitch play as well; which means he won't post content to both twitch and RU-vid at the same time.
I mean, Doomguy himself doesn't actually have any custom animations. It's all base XCOM2 soldier animations. The guy who made the mod threw it together in 10 days. Besides, the mod's own "lore" is explicit that Doomguy doesn't have his own arsenal, all the weapons he has are weapons he found after coming to XCOM's earth. So the Super Shotgun is still back at home.
I was wondering, what mod are you using that allows the resistance haven mission to take place at the DLC Spark Facility? I thought it looked really cool. Does that same mod add other new cool locations?
Doom Slayer would have a field day with Advent. They may not be Demons, but they are practically exactly the same. I wouldn't want to have to be the Chosen if XCOM had him.

Just go on the workshop and type in "Madoka". It's from a Mahou Shoujo (Magical Girl) anime series of the same now. It puts in Magical girls as mobs you can fight. Pretty rad.
Alas, no custom animations were made for Doomguy for this mod. The mod was made in just 10 days. Besides, Doomguy is using weapons scavenged from XCOM-Earth, so his Super Shotgun got left at home.
