XCOM 2: Tactical Legacy Pack OST - Resistance 

This track is peak XCOM imo. It's tense, stressful, anxious, and frightening, but there's a glimmer of hope in the slim odds of victory

I love how this track screams defiance. A refusal to bend over and let the Aliens keep doing what they want. A willingness to stand up to monsters with psychic abilities and weaponry far outclassing your own. The bravery to stare down a brutish monster several times your weight.

Who would win? An invading empire of AYYs from Mars? Or, One Yugoslavian immigrant boi?

The synths at 1:26. Kickass.

The best track of XCOM, maybe an entire franchise the most powerful music. The man who made this is on the same level of Hans Zimmer.

Love it when this one plays in battle. Really ramps up when it's your squad taking its moves

God i love how this game does music. so many other games half ass it, they have different tracks for different situations and clumsily have the game switch them in and out. this game? nah we have every track have sequences for all of the different situations in the game. makes these tracks really awesome, you can really feel the same music throughout the whole mission just adapting to your situation. i love that when shit hits the fan in this track you can clearly hear how the mellow synths really just dial up to 100 but still retain that exact same beat just a little more erratic to reflect that shit just hit the fan.

This is the best track on a very, very good list of tracks. That grinding synth is absolutely fantastic. Desperate, alien, badass as hell.
