We will try, the announcer in the booth will sometimes need to refer to a different screen for stats on his computer, and when he leaves the results screen that will clear the ETS on the scoreboards. If can be frustrating because we too would like to see the ET's a little longer.
I know this is a stock wheel base class, but how far off the swb length can you go. My 06 gsxr 1000 wheel base is 55.3 inches. Do I have to keep it at that, or can I pull it back further? Has about an extra 1 ¼ inches to max out the swingarm. That would put be about 56 ½ inches or so. Would that be legal or not?
You can not modify the stock swingarm in this class. it's a true stock wheelbase, no modifications are allowed. You can read the rules at xdaracing.com/rulebook/2021/superstock.pdf
@@Dragbikeracing Not modifying the swing arm at all. Not adding to it or taking something physically off the swing arm. Just pulling the rear axle shaft back as far as it can go on the oem swing arm, which would add links to the oem chain, in turn lengthening the wheel base, on the oem swingarm. Legal?
@@Nikdik the rules do say the Chain must remain OEM pitch. It does not address moving your axle in the stock swingarm, so it may be a bit of a gray area. I would strongly suggest contacting them to check because that class has a zero-tolerance policy and they specifically state 'Absolutely no other changes from showroom stock will be permitted unless specifically addressed within these rules' Send an email to will@waccycles.com and he could clear this up for you in a jiffy!
He hit his hazards, while Richard Gadson took the win at the line....cringe.....that's gotta hurt knowing its on RU-vid with Dragbike on the camera, pics are always better than words....
