as a controller player that has played apex and overwatch for many hours, the aim assist hardly is there compared to other big games. idk how it is on pc but on console it’s weak tbh

It’s sad how many pc players complain about aim assist. I play on pc and have had 0 issues keeping up with people that are using a controller. Just either get better, or change the input matchmaking setting. They chose to play it on pc hopefully knowing cross play has been a thing for a while now anyways

I can't do that because I won't be able to complain about missing shots.

Imagine using a 5000$ pc that can double a consoles FPS and complain 😭

People are complaining about aim assist in XDefiant? It feels nowhere near as strong as CoD! When I play M&K on XDefiant I am in the player pool that is clearly not very good at M&K, so I play controller against other controller for a more "chill" experience haha.

I am a splitgate main I used kbm in that for a while and when I saw what aim assist is capable of I switched to controller and now I can keep up with the pros in that game I thought aim assist was going to be good in this game but I have put about 12 hours into controller and I don't think its that good I can aim way better with kbm get good people lol

I complain all the time about sweats and stuff but I know when I’m booty cheeks and when I have a good game

all the sweatty on RU-vidr you can see on the hud, everyone playing on the controller, I play on the PC and connected the controller to the PC in the training area and the aim assistant is strong, the aim is locked when you fire a shot. So I've already tested it and for that reason every RU-vidr that posts saying GITGUD or CRYBABY is always playing on the controller.

only complaint is that im beaming the sniper but he still just one shots me even though there is supposed to be some kind of flinch... still havin lots of fun though

At NO point in this video did I say Aim Assist is not overpowered. I said that to AVOID uneven gun fights, you can TURN ON INPUT BASED MATCHMAKING Some of you need to clean your ears out and listen to what I actually said. Yes, aim assist is a big advantage over mouse So play in IPBM and avoid the whole issue. That’s it…. That’s the point. Stop trying to say that I’m saying Aim Assist isn’t too strong. So i found out that i actually played against console players with aim assist, and now playing a match with inputmatching on, what do you think, immediately came on top, im actually enjoying this game now, not getting instakilled. Of course i still suck, but at least now i suck bc i cant land my shots, and not bc i get laser beamed

here the problem i didn't hear u bring up. what about these trash players/ cheaters using something like cronus zen or strike pack with scripts.

I’m on MnK and I just wanna have fun and don’t care who I destroy or who destroys me, it’s a game that’s fun and that’s all I care about. Yea aim assist is nice but if ur better then ur better doesn’t matter if they got aim assist or not

as a controller player, i don't like how strong aim assist has become. it drastically reduces, almost eliminates the skill gap. you say AA is fair because of IBMM, so if everyone has it it's "fair" again. why not do the opposite? since it's controller vs controller and no one has AA, it would be even fairer. because it would increase the skill gap.

I personaly had to always turn of aim assist in games for sniping cause the clow doen threw me off. In this game i just had to slighty tone it down, so i can say at least on xbox, the aim assist is very low compared to other games

I don't think aim assist is as big of a problem as people make it out to be, i'm a pc player with decent stats, played a few games on controller and went negative.

I am a PC player, I had to move to controller because personally I find the movement to be off, to me it feels like I am fighting between the mouse and the WASD keys. The movement on controller is on par with CoD, wish I could say the same about MnK, and I know other players don't have this "weird off feeling" or they don't care or got used to it, I am saying this because input MM changed nothing for me, I get killed and kill just as often either way. LATELY tho, it appears that I am unable to turn off input MM.

I 100% agree with your comments. 2 quick points I wanna make: 1)turning off crossplay slows down your match finding time considerably. I am on Xbox and when I disabled crossplay (which only on Xbox has to be done in the console settings and can’t be done in game settings) I was searching for a match for 10 minutes without finding one and it sucked. 2)input based matchmaking is awesome, but since the match making algorithm in xDefiant priortizes input as the 5th or 6th thing it looks for, you should only end up with mixed input lobbies if you’re in a mixed input group. Trust and believe that I almost never play in a lobby with a mnk player when I solo queue into games.

I could care less what a MnK player thinks about controller AA. However... I will say XDefiant has some super sticky aim assist. It's actually so sticky that a lot of players who play controller actually run -1 to -4 because it's almost sticky to a fault at times. In some areas it's stronger than CODs and in others it's weaker than CODs. But it's 100% been increased for launch compared to the PTS/Betas because too many controller players were crying it's too hard to hit shots.

People saying AA is strong in this game meanwhile they play COD which is literally a point in click shooter shut up 😂

I dont believe that PC players are compaling. As a PC player i love when games make it more competitive with good controler support. I play with 3 controller players everyday ( 2 on console / 1 on PC) and every night they top frag the whole lobby. Im an avg to below average PC KBM player and i happy to see lobbies basically 50/50 split for input. Only thing i bitch about in this game is snipers. They need to be changed

Cross play should always be optional. If you willingly play crossplay on mnk, and keep complaining about aim assist, it's your problem at that point haha. Not you but you know what I mean. Xdefiant aim assist isn't that strong either.

PC players think they're going to be able to run over controller !console players like they typically do when cross play titles happen.. they don't want to play with other PC sweats, that's why they're crying. Sorry PC sweats but this isn't Battlefield 2042 🤣🤣

...yeah I tried the game without cross play on mouse and key only and I went from a 1.5 to 2 consistently Aim assist does the tracking for you, whereas mouse and key players need excellent tracking, which puts mouse and key at a big disadvantage.

Easy killer, the mouse players are going to cry that you’re giving them a way to eliminate their excuses.

Bring up AA and controller players always lose their shit. Lol Pro Tip- If it wasnt a crutch it wouldnt trigger you. I play only mouse lobbies so cross input isnt an issue for me. Thats the point to input based matchmaking. Halo had the same thing.

This argument would have more validity if it wasn't made by a controller player EVERY time it was talked about. OF COURSE you're going to argue that something that helps you isn't broken. Why wouldn't you? Why would you argue against something that works to your benefit? Did you not see the statistical analysis posted on Reddit the other day? A guy actually got stats for thousands of controller and mnk players and the TOP 0.07% of mnk players had the SAME accuracy as the top 25% of controller players. So less than 0% of mnk players can compare to the accuracy of 25% of the controller population in that sample size, and you're going to try to say that AA doesn't provide that big of an advantage? And yes, I'm aware that the AA amount in Apex is different than in Xdefiant for those that are inevitably going to reply with that weak response. Your "solution" in this video only applies to solo players so if you have friends on different platforms, this is completely IRRELEVANT.
