Hey BlameTruth I know you have a good following on X could you suggest this change to the lead developer of Xdefiant I think you could bring more eyes onto this. Hey, I was just wondering if I could suggest something to be implemented in the game. On your mode, Escort the enemy team has to stop the robot from moving. Then, after a certain amount of seconds, if not moved by the opposing team, it starts to move backwards. I think if there is an incentive for the enemy team to stay on the robot as well the more people of the enemy team stand on the robot the faster the count down for it to head backwards. It incentives the teams to cooperate more to reach the checkpoint or disrupt the team pushing the robot to the checpoint. It provides more of a give and take if everyone is going for the objective.
Been trying the sprint trick but still struggled with hitting my shots. I didn't realize that the standard aim response curve was so bad until I tried linear. I thought I just sucked 😂

That’s what happens when developers make a game the right way you can actually enjoy you can make positive content about game that is simple and just works it’s all we needed
So at least from the perspective of a CoD veteran with a lot of nukes under my belt, I’d have to say that probably the most important factor in consistent performance is to understand the core game outside of weapons. Understanding player tendencies lobby to lobby, typical player flow in maps, spawn logic relative to your team’s current position, and constantly reading your map and player death icons will give you the foundation to play well regardless of your weapon choice or even your gun skill. Gun skill and weapon choice matters but if you can’t read the game properly, you won’t be putting up consistent numbers

5:01 the reason I think people don’t camp in this game is because the game is very anti camp, there aren’t really any places on the maps where you can’t be attacked from multiple angles.
I remember those Showdown days man I watched your videos constantly then and started beating my friends 90% of the time. I also remember the BO1 commentary days and even when you did that creepy pasta thing with the jigglypuff thumbnail. Nostalgia.

The simplest and easiest anyone should know is: - Aiming while jogging(not-sprinting,just your regular movement) lets you ADS quicker - As well as Sprint Slide Canceling,which will ironically speed up your ads time.(You must jump as soon as you slide then aim down to see this effect).
By using everyone you will learn what you would do as that person like seeing a phantom and knowing they might pop a shield around the corner if they're running etc

fun fact if you know how to take apart the controller, you can permanently remove vibe. by severing the red and black wires going to motherboard of the controller and I did this my self too because controllers in my opinion are garbage due to them eventually starting to drift and then having to take them apart to clean them
I'd argue zig-zag sprinting is probably easier on mouse and keyboard because you can press w and a/d at the same time without breaking the forward momentum
This game is literally handled professionally at the same time friendly for some. I can't say COD spirit, because COD now is a bad word. Last night I was playing mw3. I was waiting for one of my friends to get off since the people I play with had a full team. I play free4all and got spawn killed about 8 times in a row. Downloaded x defiant and played for 5 hours without realizing. I'm never hopping on COD unless my friends tell me there's room because I have fun more with the conversations we have rather than playing the game but man this game brought me back to cod 4.
I remember going on a SPREE with the KSG, when normally I used LMG's. Black Ops 2 was the BEST CoD to have existed, just a shame that Halo Reach existed at the same time or I would have played it more. I did prestige 8 times though so that was nice I just LOVE the accuracy by volume that LMG's give me
Blametruth: It might be hard to zigzag on mouse and keyboard. Me: * holds down "W", presses shift, and starts pressing "A" and "D". yeah super difficult on PC.
another tip id add is that whenever u slide and immediately jump after the slide input u fly a long distance forward really fast. maybe its placebo and just 120fov making me feel like i go much faster but give it a try guys
Nice video man. Just got my M60 to 43 and it is so much stronger once you get some ADS walking speed on it. I have 30-40% total on mine now (depending on match) and it feels great. Hardly anyone uses this gun, people just don't like LMGs. The SMG loving people always hate on LMGs in every game also. I am generally a AR and LMG player in most FPS games, not a fan of the cracked out SMG playstyle. Glad you are enjoying the game.

You know what makes me happy. I knew cod was purposely nerfing me because I know I’m not crap. Xdefiant just proves me right. I do very well like 95% of the time. I do bad every once in a while but I can accept I’m not gonna be perfect every single game but call of duty makes me feel like I get stripped naked and have to kill armored enemies with a pea shooter after I go on a 25 plus kill streak.
I REALLY feel like I go faster pressing 2 forward inputs (forwards and one side basically straifing diagonally) I'm not sure if that's because I usually chain a slide jump out of it but it DOES feel faster. Also ty for talking about the pistol swap, barely anyone does this lol
This game went from fun to frustrating. No one plays the objective on my team and I'm constantly losing every match. W/L is tanking below 1.0 and I'm usually at the top on my team with the most kills and objective score
I knows it's nitpick, but I feel like games should take both weapons into account for movement speed. Why is it that putting the big heavy gun in your backpack instead of your hands seems to make it weightless? Doesn't make sense to me. I also wish, and this is more xdefiant specific, that you could choose to not equip a primary or secondary weapon in favor of either another attachment or something. Kind of a throwback to black ops 2's pick ten system, but without perks because xdefiant has no perks.

So the cheating situation is getring out of hand already. In my last 1 hour session I came across multiple cheaters/hackers. The type that will cross map you, through all cover and everything. Since disabling crossplay results in 0 lobbies being found this is killing the fun for me
Blame truth you couldn't have said it better I'd say of course avoid a gun that is actually bad like the mp5 which doesn't have a purpose in the game seeing the p90 is statistically better but nearly every weapon has a specific niche to get good at with and thats what i have done since mw3 and bo2.
They need to nerf the bunny hop even more. It takes away the fun from the core gameplay when everyone is just running and jumping 24/7. Its the one movement mechanic that is ruining the game for me.
Muscle memory is funny because it’s kind of pseudoscience. It’s a real thing to a certain degree but there’s also a benefit to be had by changing your sensitivity which challenges your brain and keeps you on your toes so there’s two sides to it, definitely wouldn’t want to experiment with sensitivity before playing some high stakes game or something though Zigzag on mouse and keyboard can be easily done by just holding W and then turning strictly with your mouse rather than using A or D Keys
i am enjoying the SHIT out of Xdefiant, having put CoD down after Modern Warfare 3 came out ive been itching for a solid fps. I really dont rage in this game. even when i lose im usually like "yeah okay... gg's, lets go again!"
you dont need sbmm when everyone is bunny hopping like there is sbmm. you know damn well in the old days of cod that it was never like xdefiant. golden days of cod aint coming back unless you make it simple by bringing back how og cod played like bo2. simple movement, maps that are best suited for simple movement, unique weapons, etc. that's how casuals AND sweats thrived.
I’m like mega confused how zig zag is one a new concept two how it would be harder on pc add a and d and move your mouse and a pistol = unstoppable add some bhops and snipers can’t do shit. Added bonus if you have a wooting keyboard basically the same as a rolla.
After trying out so many guns since release. I can confidently say. The Double Barreled shotgun is my favorite gun in the game. That High Risk/High Reward feeling just can't be beaten when you only have 2 shots and a slow reload. The other 2 shotguns are way better in so many ways, but the Double Barreled feels so good to use. Especially when you get those back to back one shot one kills. The M60 which you're using is honestly my favorite LMG in the game. It's way slower than the SAW, but man does it hit hard. The M1911 pistol sucks.... until you get an extended mag. Once you get that attachment it honestly becomes the best pistol in the game, and I see everyone using mostly the Deagle, Rafica or the M9. I use them all, including the garbage Magnum. The M1911 however once you get an extended mag is actually powerful enough to be its own primary weapon. The fire rate sucks and ammo (pre-extended mag) sucks, but everything else about it makes up for those downsides, and with how fast you move due to it being a pistol especially in Hot Shot. This gun really is a sleeper pick. 7 bullets at base I know sucks, but soldier through that to unlock the extended mags and trust me you'll have a great time. In BO2 terms the M1911 is kind of like the Tac-45. No, that does not make the M9 like the Five Seven, it's not only way weaker damage wise, but also has half the fire rate. Whereas the M1911 feels far closer to that of a Tac-45. BO2 pistols, pretty much all of them could be ran as Primary Weapons so to be close enough to any of those is a compliment in its own.
