I'm loving the focus on objective gameplay. I've always been an objective player and it's refreshing to not be going it alone anymore. Keep on, keepin on boys!
I love this game, but the one thing in my experience is that people absolutely don't play the objective. Also, you don't get weapon xp for objective in this game, just player xp unless its changed. This might be why people aren't playing obj also.
Man, i always get teammates that are allergic to objectives. Had multiple games of dom last night where i was ahead on objective score by thousands over just 2nd place. Multiple teammates had between 0 and 100
On twitter they said they were changing the XP tokens to only work when in game. So being in menus and stuff won't be an issue anymore in regards to wasting those tokens. (this was in a reply comment)
Are we positive that objective XP goes towards the weapon in your hand? I say that because I’ve never seen my gun level go up capping objectives. Only when I get a kill or an assist. Since it’s double XP weekend they confirmed on Twitter if you pop a token it’s four times the XP it’s pretty sweet.
@@luke-i6k so only kills and assists count towards the weapon XP right? Although it does seem like I am leveling them up pretty fast playing the objective. I wish the developer would clarify.
I’m still not seeing objective xp counting toward weapon xp…. At least for sure not for secondary weapons. I’m assuming if it DOES count for weapons it’s only the primary. Tested it out running a 1911 and scoring objective points, but no kills, only with primary weapon, and 1911 saw NO progress at the end of the match. Either objective points do not count toward your weapon xp level, or they ONLY count toward your primary.
How do you know all those things count toward your weapon xp? All those alternate ways of getting xp you mentioned may only count towards your player level. Not weapon level. For weapon levels it might be kills only.
also they need to level down the progression for weapon modification a little bit along with the balancing, server lag(ttk desync). and thanks for nice calculation espresso.
Console still has a small delay and or disconnection from actual movement. It is definitely not consistent. Not sure if it's the same on PC. Best way to describe it is. One moment I feel like I'm on ice 2 inch above the map floor. And at any moment it's like I'm stuck in the mud randomly. It's not from the hop cool down. It's just in general. I can make the same move twice around a wall at the same exact spot and each time it is a different result in my centering on screen. Messed with settings a ton. And normally never have problems with centering all the way back to the no aim assist days of black ops. So not sure why the snipers especially feels this way. And the random no shot. When pulling the trigger I'm guessing because movement breaks trigger pull into shot mechanic? Not sure? Might get on the chat tomorrow and mention it to dev team. But if you can help with us snipers it'd be appreciated. Mainly happens with the Tac sniper. Thanks for the video on helping get leveled up faster too. It helped alot. I knew objective mattered but there is Def new strategies for me to try.
My man. I’ve used some of your advice in changing some of my settings and taking some of your other advise in previous videos and I’m actually doing a lot better in this game. I believe you are for the gamers and not the game. Thank you.
On that Escort clip? Yeah, not sure what happened there, misplay on my part for sure - I remember our discord was hectic trying for that last push, just me dropping the ball (like usual haha).
I commented on your video a couple days ago complaining about this game feeling awful and since then bought a gaming monitor and new internet and it feels incredible now
I feel like there's team play and people do the objective games in the morning. At night its a buncha try hards, i'm a team of one mentality people. It drives me nuts.
iv been hearing that only weapon kills/assists/purple point blanks and headshots count twards weapons and orange challanges/objecttive xp only counts towards player xp
Occupy is what i use the games are longer i always get at least 20 kills on bad games and more points to gain from objectives with this double xp iv leaved up my guns 2-3 levels per game
Biggest tip for player UNDER lvl 25.. LVL up weapons up until lvl 10 atleast.. it’s gets rough when you want to try out a new weapon after that welcome playlist .. and now there’s double XP but it’s rough man I’m lvl 45 finally switching to other weapons and getting cooked
None of that objective xp goes to your weapons. Only kills an assists count toward weapon xp. You can get offensive/defensive kills when playing around an objective and that will give you a bit more, but thats about it. All the other xp goes to your character level. I didn't hear you make this distinction in the video so I just wanted to make sure it was clear for everyone. Great vid though my guy.
Hmmm ive got the feeling that you are mixing up player and weapon xp. For example, Is getting xp on the objective really true cause Acc. To Inklasha you just get weapon xp when you kill someone of the objective and not when standing on it (just player xp)
I really like the game but the servers where I live are horrible I get shot after going around corners to heal and I’ll die the server latency is horrible where I live so it’s unplayable for me
Still trying to figure out what player I am. Am I a rusher, a control ar player, etc. so far I’ve noticed I do best quick scoping. Have had my highest kill game and streaks while sniping. lol. Which is weird cuz in cod I suck ass at snipin
I feel like the progression of the xp is one of the better parts of this game. I'm not sure why people think its too slow. There would be no real progression if it was any faster
I think Escort kills should be worth ~200 as they are so much slower than dom/occupy/hotshot kills with the spawn timer and running distance needed between fights.
Just to clarify as I don't believe it was mentioned, is there a differentiation between xp and weapon xp? i.e playing the objective I thought levelled ME. not my weapon?
how are your lobbies? i enjoy the non sbbm style. sometimes i am playing against better players, but most of the times i meet bots. my kd is above 3.5 right now. i only had kd like this in the old cods.
ONE MORE THING: after every match at the MVP screen you get the option to give like to other team players which I see barely anyone doing. You get 100xp for giving likes and receiving likes will give you 300xp.
@@garrettfiorito4482It’s still ridiculous. Why not just boost xp progression while you’re unlocking attachments, and then slow it down once the final attachment is unlocked?
Yes they do and it stacks to a 400% boost, took my ACR from level 1 to level 30 in just a couple play sessions If you played a prior playtest and haven’t used your beta reward boosters yet, now’s the time
The xp progression is what's going to kill this game. The game play is good. But I've played over 3 hours and unlocked like 6 attachments. So im still stuck using default loadouts or forced to purchase bundles. Which I think is their plan and that turns me off.
