XDEFIANT vs Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 - Weapons Sound and Reload Animation Comparison.
The XDefiant open beta will begin on Wednesday, June 21 at 10:00 am PT (1:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm BST / 7pm CEST), and will last until the same time on Friday, June 23.
XDefiant is Ubisoft's new first-person shooter game that draws inspiration from the classic Call of Duty gameplay. It is an arena shooter that focuses on competitive PvP matches with regular updates. XDefiant is an online-only game that supports crossplay on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Players can choose from different factions and classes based on Ubisoft's franchises.

I like the detail both games have when reloading shotguns like the Remington you can see the player pushing the shell in which you're supposed to do instead of just halfass sliding it into the tube magazine.

The point is to avoid legal repercussions for using third party guns they don’t have the rights to. However the fact that XDefiant has named all of these guns, especially the HK ones, just shows how scared Activision is to put in the money for basic features because it’s risky.

@@ele.mentalboi9562 most common theory is its Activision attempting to dodge blame for real world shootings, multiple shootings have been blamed on CoD and CoD has been used as an example of advertising firearms in lawsuits related to shootings (Remington lawsuit mainly), also some recent bill was passed about advertising firearms to minors in california. its pretty well recorded that firearm companies will give out rights like candy since they generally aren't big companies (with one big exception being Glock) so for a game like CoD they'd jump at the chance to have their weapons included.

@@ph-1012 also, both social media and voice chat in game refers to the guns by their actual names, so in today’s society it makes little difference. Also, the RPK is still in and guess what any search of the gun brings up; “light machine gun variant” of the AK-47. We need to promote safety with firearms to children, not get them down their own rabbit holes so they can be law abiding citizens.

What I find really amusing is how accurate this is, especially when you look at some of the same bugs that crop up between them. In atleast division 1 (and I think I recall in the sequel, not sure though). A bunch of weapons had some animation bugs where the bolt would reciprocate out the back of the receiver such as on the RPK etc. In Xdefiant you can see exactly this happening with the mp7...
