wonpil can also relate because both him and young k are supposed to be part of got7 but they were shocked after knowing that they will debut as a band lmao
I expected that cause his dancing skills he showed in ASC was just amazing. Main dancer Jungsu lmao. Imagine practicing dance really hard and then your company says you're going to debut in a band no dancing-
@@traweller22 that’s right. Sungjin and Gunil are jype’s best main dancer ever. And both are leader for jype’s band. Is it jype thing to make their main dancer as leader for band?? 🤭
O.de also said how he got angry at first when they announced to him that his gonna be in a band. I can understand why they would, because they auditioned to be idols, trained to be idols, only to end up in a band. Not saying being in a band is a bad thing, but they must've been devastated to start from scratch all over again, with learning the instruments and such, after a year of idol training where they're more likely focused in dancing
true, also he needs to learn to play and instrument. also bands do less well than idol groups, so if you didnt want to be in a band to begin with, or you were one of those idols who stated their dream was to be famous, then being in a band wouldnt make you too happy
it is really understandable. but it is really a good thing that jype trusted them, that even with not much knowledge on instrument, they trusted them to be in band. jype dont want to lose these two thats why they pushed them. i want to see how much they will improve with keyboard in the upcoming years!
I'm glad both him and O.de are honest about how they felt when they were told about the band, they shouldn't have to say that everything was alright when it's not
it's understandable how both jungsu and o.de went through this , both aimed to be idols but were decided to debut in a band but honestly i think both of them are really loving their time in xh tbh and xh is going places , we all know that (jungsu dancing skills tho 😭)
This reminds of YoungK’s story as well it’s so similar, I feel bad for them because they must have worked so hard to be an idol only to be a band member but it was relieving to know that Jungsu isn’t worried about anything as long as he has the members beside him and Od.e grew to love his position. I’m happy they debuted but a part of me wonders why on earth did jype change their dreams like that
Well, I think it was all a strategy decision from JYPE. You have to remind that JYP is now taking around 3 years to debut same-gendered Korean-based groups (XH 2021, SKZ 2018, Day6 2015). That'll mean that their next boy group/band will probable be debuting around 2024. Jungsu is a 01' liner and O.de a 02' one. If they were to debut under an idol group in 2024, they'd be like 24/23 Korean age at the time they debut. Not that I'm against idols debuting late, but it would've meant waaaaay longer training or, let's be real, probs they would've quit before debuting. I'm sure JYP recognized how talented they are and decided to make them join the band to release their talents to the public. And that's one of the best decisions ever!
yes i am sad for him and ode for not getting to be in a dance idol group, but after seeing day6's achievements, Idol Bands can go far, very very very far, world tour, fan meetings, just like how the conventional kpop idols are doing. Day6 are even bigger than most of kpop groups. with condition, no bad music is released. Just do your very best Xdinary Heroes!! I'm here for all of youu!!
I don’t think the success is the point of why they don’t want to be in a band. I think it’s more that they want to dance not play instruments. I hope he gets to dance one day lol even if he is now a keyboardist and not an idol singer
Jungsu definitely still has a talent for dance. I hope that he can continue practicing dance, even if it's just a little bit, to maybe release a dance cover video or something. Or imagine how awesome it would be if he incorporates playing instruments with dance. Idk it would be cool to see him continue dance in some form or another in the future
That's what I'm talking about haha I mean the latter part of your comment about incorporating dance. I had a talk with my twin sister that I want to see Jungsu and O.de incorporate dancing while they perform. The reason for this liking was because I once saw a bad that did that and it was very awesome 💞
@@kaa8 ooh I didn't know about that! The band I saw was years ago probably around 2015-2016 and it was in a Korean Festival but thank you for telling me. What's the song btw? I would love to check it out.
@@erickaobierez1999 They do a little dance in 'snooze' but Moné in 'wooing' do stop playing to dance so I recommend you to check it out. Not sure now if I saw other dances in kband performances but hope you enjoy those
It wasn't in vain cause he gets to show off and impress everyone now. The "he's in a band but he dances like THAT" factor. But it must have been a shock at the time
2/3 of my xh bias originally aimed to be in a dance idol group ~.~ would be cool if they got the opportunity to do some collab stages with one of jype's dance groups in the future +manifesting+
i hope jungsu can still use his dancing skills for special stages or concerts because he is really decent with it and the best dancer in jyp bands (dont tell sungjin and gunil).
It's my impression that band members are not under as much scrutiny as pop idols, and they can be more independent, get tattoos, have a private life, etc.... ........unlike pop idols whose fans get unreasonably jealous and threaten to harm anyone the idol may or may not be dating.
Lol no. I wish this was the case. Junhyeok of day6 got kicked out a few months after their debut for dating (his ex was such an idiot exposing their schedule and stuff like that) because jype has/had a rule that you can’t date for the first three years of your career for some stupid reason. And Kwangjin of N Flying also got kicked out because a fan got jealous that he was dating another fan and spread rumors that he assaulted her.
damn why jype kept doing this when they’re suck at managing a group band😭 they be lyk picking random trainees to be in the band when they trained to be idols instead its like day6 all over again😭 i just hope these boys will receive a lot of love in the future like day6 did so its a well paid off journey for all of them 💛
Right, but I also read that maybe they lack at something (like youngk not being able to flip before) it’s just that jype still wants to keep them due to their vocals? Whatever the reason is, the sudden change is disheartening for them.
