"Xena, La Princesa Guerrera" es de los mejores recuerdos de mi solitaria y casera adolescencia, no me perdía esta buenísima serie. Me encantaría volverla a ver. Saludos desde Pereira - Colombia.
It's like that old saying. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And people tend to mirror the mannerisms of people they are affectionate to and/or spend alot of time with.
Loved the video!!! I think the commentary's and the coffee talks are my fav videos because u get to see Lucy and Gabrielle interact and watch these episodes prob for the first time. Loved it give me more lol. Poof
1:38-2:05 check out the dynamic between all three. Rob: happy as hell- Renee: horrified- Lucy: total disappointment! U can tell Lucy wanted to throw her arm around Renee. Threes a crowd, u know?
I couldn't agree more. I get it. He created the show, he's her husband....but it's like......the tension is so thick when he's there. In every commentary without him Lucy is very affectionate to Renee. And now...it's just.....blech.
I think Lucy is kind of serious because her husband is not sitting by her...and I don't think is because she is jealous, no, maybe she resented the marketing of Tapert if you know what I mean.
2 years late but I can understand why Lucy acts different when Rob is around. First off she sees him all the time of course their married. But she doesn’t get to see Renee because they live in different parts of the world. So when they do get to see and be around each other they want to be comfortable and enjoy each other’s company. I get it!!!
I was out of the loop on Xena growing up. My parents are Christians, they homeschooled and didn't wanted to protect us from the influences of television. So, I finally got into Xena, when my husband bought the complete collection of Hercules and Xena from our Walmart. Xena is my favorite of course. We're currently watching Xena for the second time. I'm late to the scene. But, Glad that I'm finally able to enjoy.
@ruujaya Quoting from what he said a while back in an interview...apparently the production company who owns the rights think that there is not enough momentum for a Xena movie. A.K.A. They don't think that we (The Fans) are dedicated enough to have one made. [Personal thought: I think they know we are and just don't want to make it.]
AVENTERXPRESSS.. thanks =) It's simple words but sometimes I just can't understand.. you're lucky to speak with fluency you know.. we don't speak it in Brazil... THANK YOU again =D
I get these by watching this video: 1- they didn't even watch their own work in those days...2- Lucy hated to play her character Xena .for what of the multiple reasons? She only knows.. 3- Reneé is so light that it seems she didn't mind playing Gabrielle +the cons+interviews+the sitting next to Lucy's husband mm..that husband can sell anything for the love of show business..mmm....
I agree with Lucy. I don't like the fact that Xena did that to Gabrielle. I kind of wish she had let Gabrielle kill Eve. lol I never really liked her character.
Sometimes I thinl Lucy doesn´t want to be like Xena and besause of this, she says so silly stuff like corny... The question is, what is she afraid of? I was just a role, a gay character she played. Why does she always talk so bad about it. It is so easy to see through....
I think Lucy played Xena first for the fame and money, when both purposes were served then there was no need to pretend she likes her role. In every single interview after last episode you see signs of dissatisfaction and some times hatred in her words, tone and behaviour. This give people and supporters a sense of being betrayed. They feel she was dishonest. Just compare her clip with Rosie O'daniel which she was like a clear flowing spring water and this one such a concrete.
