It's just MORE BAHAMUT. Summoner can summon only 5 things, the 3 Primals, Bahamut and Phoenix. And they do not CARE how much we want to summon something ELSE, ONLY THOSE FUCKING 5.

Red mage doing a full enchanted combo into verflare while having no mana is nuts. It looked like they banked their charges to use later. With the new combo finisher they added if thats the case their burst lode went from 18 actions to a max of 28 actions not including ogcds. And it looks like gunbreaker added a 4th dps to their trenchcoat with a new chain move to their cartridge aoe and whatever that last move they spammed was. Loving this.

I love that when smn was redone everyone was like " there's still hope maybe they will add more primals as summons". Nope we just got reskinned bahamut. It would have been cool if they did do Alexander or eden or idk even anima. Nah lets just do the lowest effort thing and reskin bahamut from stormblood.

Dragoon (Floortank) main here, very upset they're removing Spineshatter Dive. They definitely got a bunch of cool upgrades and new skills from what we see but I thought the whole shtick of the job was the jumps and now we have less jumps. Which also takes away some dps since spineshatter was absolutely weaved for more damage. Edit: I'd rather them take away the damage of Spineshatter but keep the skill in to be a gap closer simply for it's animation alone. Dragoon with less jumps feels weird.

@@FlanxLycanth After Phoenix phase, sub out Garuda/Titan/Ifrit for Rumah/Shiva/Leviathan. Then maybe after Phoenix and Bahamut have been used, fill a gauge to summon Alexander or Odin. Idk something other than a stupid Solar Bahamut.

I agree, ley line is problematic and should just be tethered to the BLM. Too many fights require movement to justify an ability that makes you stay put. If you can move the ley lines indefinitely this could work, but that's a chore, it should just be a self buff with no worrying about positions. To keep it in theme, what if it was like, "reveals the ley lines of the battlefield" and it's just the whole field lol

The summoner is what irks me the most. Ever since they reworked summoner, it feels like the summons like carbuncles and egis are useless AF. Instead of removing micromanaging, they should have fixed the summon placement spaghetti coding instead. Scholar suffers the same issue, but at least the fairies do actually heal even after rework. Still a bad move by CBU3 though. BUT, thank god they brought sleeve draw back, and it seems like the cards have their own unique buffs, like bole being a defense buff once again else they wouldn't use it on the tank.. I hope I'm right though. Finally some complexity brought back into my main job.

Honestly I was hoping for them to finally separate The Blackest Night from MP and give us a second gauge to spend exclusively on defensive cooldowns (similar to Paladin Oath Gauge), while keeping the Blood Gauge for offensive spending. I think that would've been a really cool dynamic to make DRK feel distinct from the other tanks while retaining their identity as a high-burst Job and opening up some flexibility with how you spend your mitigation -- instead of how it is right now where I basically just stockpile 3k MP at all times and pretend my Max MP is only 7k.

Animation upgrades and a GCD follow up on Shadow you get to press once every 2 minutes? Drk got cucked. They removed potency from gapclosers, they merged Delirium and Bloodweapon and consolidated 123 into 1 button.. Idk how they managed to do it but they made Dark knight more boring in DT than EW. Having fun mashing 111111111111111111111111111111112 after your burst.

I want to find the people responsible for samurai and put a bounty on their heads…😢 if you take madare and replace it with a new madare, after balancing, what did you gain? Just new animation same class… now you just got to wait 10 levels to be the same samurai…
