I was about the Boss's level when I fought them. They cloned themselves so many god damn times, everybody I was using leveled up twice, and the enemies were fittingly giving me 666 EXP per guy.

Fun fact: Everbero is a Latin word meaning "hit hard." It's literally just Rogue but with more force.

Seriously, Nia's determination to no longer hide and her reveal of her Blade powers are quite inspiring/heartwarming. Her voice actor really did good.

You know, when you really think about it...she took it surprisingly well. Girl fuckin' laughs off the rejection (or denseness. You can never tell with these things) and still trudges on knowing full well she'll never win. Hell, she even shoves Rex towards the girls in the very last cutscene to give him the push he needed to approach them.

15:08 The one piece of believable dialogue, and possibly the best delivery from this actor. From what I’ve seen of this game so far, this is the funniest moment.

I shipped Rex and Nia even though I knew Rex was in love with Pyra/Mythra, but...come on, Monolith Soft! Did you really pull another Melia here? WHY!?!?!

If you ever want to beat this boss easily. Get all clones down to low health, then use an AoE in a chain attack to finish them all.

Quit multiplying you pain in the ass! Also the continued case of Xenoblade's best girls never getting lucky with the guy.

I honestly thought this would never end when I did it... Thought this was just my life now.

Honestly, this boss is not hard, but it's a damn confusing one. I see some people saying you have to drain each of their health then use a chain attack, but something tells me I just had to keep killing them until they stopped multiplying, cause that's what was happening for me.

"I love you, Rex!" "...wut?"

That cutscene is perhaps my favourite moment in the game... Well that and a cutscene coming up later.

Fun fact: "Phantasm" is actually not a name, but a word. It means "A figment of the imagination; an illusion or apparition." In older times, it was defined as "an illusory likeness of something", both of which seem appropriate here.

I counted killing 20 of them and i got overwhelmed! Wth!

I think I both love and hate this game. The difficulty spikes make me quite it for LONG periods of time then I come come back and have to reremember how to play it and what's happening again! XDXDXD

This is a great boss fight for XP

52 ?! I was 43 against this boss...

I was level 63 at this point and it still took me forever to do this.

Really beats me why they made Nia fall in love with Rex. Nowhere in the story did they allude her feelings for Rex until this part. They're whole relationship really felt like a brother/sister type bond. Don't know why they had to ruin it with this lol.

All you guys saying "Melia 2.0" in the comments are seriously downplaying Melia's story. Nia didn't go through a tenth of the stuff Melia did, and besides, this is a happy scene for her.

There’s nothing worse than failing to finish them with a chain attack and hearing 5 “Multus”s

Take a shot everytime the phantoms say rouge

Just a tip that helped me, if you have a knockdown move, use it near the ledge and knock them down to the poison water stuff and they’ll all die slowly lol

This fight took me forever because of that freaking MULTUS thing. I won eventually, but it just took me a really long time.

People seem to forget that Nia dosen't care that she got "friendzoned", if anything she prefers it that way.

Knowing Xenoblade 3, rex really meant what he said. He *loves* them all.

Idk man, I'm playing Xenoblade Definifion Edition and I'm just not getting the same emotion that this game brought. Xenoblade 2 did such an amazing job with it, but who knows, I'm only about half way through Definitive edition

I keep reading suggestions that their health bars should be brought down to 1/4. That is wrong. It should be half. After that you just brute force your way through.

I found it quite hard to beat when I play through the game first time in normal difficulty..

Was getting pretty pissed that they keep multiplying took like 10 min I think true story

Focusing 1 phantasm at a time,lowering their hp to 1/4,which stopped the spawning,then finished with Azami's Lvl 1 AOE attack.

Is it not like this, that you need to kill all Phantasm at the same time, so they cannot regenerate?

Is says defeat 4 but I kill more than 4

I've read that when their HP go down to 1/3 they summon another, so before that is good to execute a chain attack to kill them

I turned the voice volume all the way down just for this fight

This fight actually took me two tries. I won by Chain Attacks and brute force...

Greetings! I am a new player to this game. I have had it for about a week now. I have some how managed to get to this boss fight. Every time I attempt to do this, other parties in my group keep dying and I am spending my energy trying to stay alive. Can someone please offer me some advice on what item I should be getting to focus my resources on? Like affinity, strength,agility, driver arts, ether, HP, etc. What should I be focusing on the most to help me out, because obviously I can't have it all. I Wish I could skip this fight and avoid the frustrations that come with it so I can get Pyra back. Without her my 🌎 has come to an end. I am level 58 now and still have a very low survival rate. Thank you so much for any help you can offer me!
