Because I stay concerningly up to date with this stuff, here is what we know so far in the art book: Nopon are immortal because they are not part of Aionios' design. Shulk and Rex appeared later which lines up with the Liberators arriving later theory. Ontos has been silently operating since the end of FC and never fully shut down, which explains his sudden appearance in FR. Z is canonically a sub admin of Origin, with Alpha being the primary admin. Shulk, Rex, Nia, and Melia all also have access to the Origin system, although their authority is slightly different. The rules mentioned by A are also connected as the rules of Aionios are part of how the world operates, so Shulk and Rex removing Nikol and Glimmer's term marks just makes more sense now. Malos (specifically not Logos for one reason or another) is in N's Sword of the End. Which is unique given that Pneuma is in Noah and Matthew's blade rather than the Origin Metal part. Fiora is Lucky Seven and previous major characters from 1 and 2 may have reappeared in 3 as Origin Metal as it is a medium for containing souls. The Black Fog seen in FC, FR, and 3 is representative of the worlds trying to recombine. It can also "project" entities across the two worlds. Which helps explain the Fog King/Infernal Guldo. The Young Noah seen in Noah's mind during Chapter 6 is actually a fragment of N's mind talking to Noah. So instead of M talking to Noah it is Noah talking to Noah about why he exists. It's not confusing I promise. When somebody acheives Homecoming, they cannot be affected by Moebius at all. Noah and Mio are the only individuals who superceded Homecoming by their desire to stay together. Which explains why Z was interested in them in the first place. Oh also Takahashi is just taking the piss and basically said he is cooking for Xenoblade 4. Bro got that Nintendo money to make Perfect Works after two decades of trying.

Noah threw the sword into the ocean because its symbolic of moving ahead. Now that everyone can look to the future without fear and there's no reason to currently fight anymore the spirits of those who compose the Lucky Seven can be released from their part in the war.

Obviously Mythra's kid is the reincarnation of Addam who wields Malos' sword, and Rex and Shulk become villains and try to kill Noah for yeeting their wives

I mean yeah, I don't know why some people started doubting about the Malos core crystal being implied to be in the sword of the end. It also made perfect sense with the purple glow. The scene is specifically constructed in a way to suggest you that, the shots back to back, Rex's look and what he says at this specific moment. You have to interpret the signs correctly cause there is a right way to interpret it through suggestion but this type of things are very discreet and rely on your perspicacity and aren't simply factually explained with blocks of text or written. You have to learn how to read between the lines basically. There is a lot of things like that with Xenoblade (it's probably even too vague in Xenoblade 3 for the most part to the point where further explanations are required).

Frankly, I would LOVE if Malos' reincarnation was the bext protagonist! We haven't really had a "dark" protagonist in Xenoblade yet (both in a literal and metaphorical sense). Shulk comes close, but he's still definitively a good guy who generally makes decisions that are all morally good. What if BOTH Mythra's kid and the reincarnation of Malos were in the game? It would be amazing to finally see at least two parts of the trinity actually act like family (or at least the extensions of the trinity). We couldn't really see it with Mythra and Pyra since they literally couldn't be on the screen at the same time the majority of the time. A and Alpha are the complete inverse of Mythra and Pyra, so none of their interactions were good either. Pneuma and Logos were diametrically opposed from the moment they were awakened. Alpha/A/Alvis never get to interact with any of them. I find it extremely ironic that they are all supposed to be 3 parts of the same whole, but almost none of them can get along with each other for more than 5 minutes without trying to kill each other. Speaking of Mythra's kid and Malos 2.0 finally getting to know each other, the same thjng could happen with Ontos in XC4. If the world reset and Shulk and Rex are no linger avatars and could resume their lives as normal, wouldn't that be the same for A as well? She could still exist in XC4 so we could have all the pieces of the Trinity Processor be in one room for once! They don't all have to be party members, but I just want ONE scene where they are all together and are not trying to rip each other's throats out.

Z said that he cant imagine the machinations that had to happen for N to have the sword of the end. I think there may be one more character involved that is responsible of what happened in aionios. Also i wonder if they will address why Sena has the same hair as Brigid.

Its perfect because now all the cranky in-law jokes about N and Rex now extend to Shulk and Rex going up against N AND Noah.

Xenoblade 4's party will include Mythra's kid as the main protagonist, who wields a reincarnated Malos because why not have an Aegisborn drive Aegis?

I think Malos's core crystal is destroyed, but his data still exists. The original function of the Aegis's in the XB2 world was that they acted as managers to the Blades, maintaining the data from each blade. I believe that the Pnumea Core kept said data, just like how it is implied Pyra and Mythra's personalities remained after being "kaboom'd". Origin's main purpose was to recreate matter and used the remaining Aegis' as a base. What if Origin used a combination of the data of Malos from Pnumea's core and N and M's emotions to essentially reforge Malos' core crystal, winding up in N's blade as Noah returned over and over again, reforging Malos's Crystal more each time. Origin could also be trying to "balance" itself due to Alpha, which would also explain how N and Matthew just so happened to both have the "balances" to Alpha right when they needed them.

people thinking that n's sword is not malos is literally the whole ontos situation all over again. even after definitive edition changed alvis key to a core we had people claim that he can't in any way be ontos. til 3 just straight up said that he is. it's so on the nose that malos clearly is a part of the sword.

I want to add one little caveat here: we are very close to a new console. The smart move would be to make the next Xenoblade for the next console so it can help bolster that console’s game library

Safe to say Noah is gonna get jumped by shulk and Rex for throwing there wife’s into the sea And with malos I think it more like the case of pneuma remaking malos core crystal like she did with pyra and mythra as a gift of a new better life as he was fucked when he was awakened by Amalthus now whether it’s a new personality or just malos like what she did with pyra and mythra is to be seem

This is a question before watching the video. So I know this might be a pointless question to ask, but with Matthew’s gauntlet housing Pneuma’s core Crystal and N’s Sheath housing Logos’ core Crystal, is it safe to assume that Pneuma’s core Crystal is housed in Noah’s sheath as well? Since it shares similarities with Matthew’s gauntlets and it would also parallel N as well.

I think this comment from one of the videos I saw somewhere last year, that theorized and thought about how the core crystal went into Noah's sword being a thing. And in that comment, someone said "He threw them into the ocean. _Where they used to be"_ Making a play on words for one of Xenoblade 2's songs. Edit: I mixed up the songs earlier before finding the comment from the other video again. Because Pyra and Mythra at the beginning of Xenoblade 2 we found them at the bottom of the ocean. And now back to the ocean they go.

i have a feeling that the next xenoblade protag is gonna be the new driver of logos but he will have another form similar to pyra and there will be a fight between this guy and rex maybe

I do think it was clear that the Sword of the End was based on the Logos core, but there wasn't a reason to think it was Malos him self. Based on what we knew before today, one could have easily though that the Sword of the End was a Logos Replica ( or Emulator). if you Thought Luck Seven was an Ontos Replica, this would make a lot of sense. And honestly I think there is more to the answer of to the question of what is the Sword of the End. Cus Malos is DEAD at the end 2 so something must of happened, now we just have to wait for Xenoblade 4 for an answer to that (I am so hyped for a game that hasn't been announced yet omg)

One thing that still confuses me: at the beginning of Chapter 7, Nia calls Noah's Blade the Sword of the End. That implies to me that it's the same Blade as N's. So does that mean they both have Logos/Malos in their Blades? Is it linked to their souls within Origin? And does that also mean that Fiora, as Lucky Seven, is also in N's black Lucky Seven? And if so, is Fiora almost part of Logos in this case, since Pneuma is probably the sheath of Noah's Lucky Seven, so the only part Nia could be referring to as the Sword of the End is Lucky Seven?

Every moebius weapon's already glow purple like Logos how we ware supposed to know? Lucky seven is fiora? It is her Robotic mechon body that was re purposed as Lucky seven? The sword is powered by the souls within Origin

I really hope along with a Xenoblade X game for the Switch 2 we also get a Xenoblade Warriors game where it's set after Xenoblade 3. That way we can the story of following up on the main series characters and answer a lot of the stuff Takahashi is keeping secret for now. But at the same time still getting an X port or sequel as well. Since Xenoblade Warriors will be done by Koei Tecmo while Monolithsoft focuses on X. Just make it so Mythra's kid is the protagonist of the Warriors game.

I have a theory. But let me set y'all up with a scenario. After the events of Xenoblade 2, the party went their separate ways for a few years. Rex and Pyra (and ONLY Rex and Pyra) got married and had a child, Glimmer. Eternally grateful for saving his life, Niall invites Nia to serve as Gormott's Consul as reparations are made and Mor Ardain restores Gormott's sovereignty with Lady Nia becoming Regent and restoring the Eschell name to nobility. During this, the two fall in love, marry and have a child, Mio. Mythra travels Elysium (shortly thereafter named "Agnus") alone on a journey of self-discovery. During her travels, she befriends a man, the two fall in love, having a child. Nothing is known of this man. Years later, the party reunites to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of Agnus. Emperor Niall commissions a professional photographer to take a photograph for posterity which will be called "The Saviors of Alrest." Rex, Pyra, Mythra, Nia, Dromarch, Tora, Poppi, Morag, Bridgid, Zeke and Pandoria were intended to be the only ones to appear in the photograph. But Queen Nia's handmaidens were having a hard time placating the three babies as they got really fussy without their mothers. After some coercion from his wife, Niall acquiesced to allow his daughter and children of the Aegises appear in the historic photograph. This is my theory/headcanon of why Rex is still absolutely a gigachad, just not for the reasons he appears to be in the photo at the end of XC3. Saving the entire world at 15 is enough to earn him that title.
